Cost Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

Cost Allocation: The Cost Accounting Manager ensures that costs related to the company's products and services are allocated according to corporate procedures and comply with financial accounting standards.

Cost Control: Oversee cost control systems, manage and interpret cost audits, and prepare cost accounting reports for presentation to top management.

Historical Data Analysis: Gather historical cost data (including materials, labor, depreciation, and operating expenses), compare budgets with actual expenses.

Project Management: Lead and teach staff to complete cost projects efficiently.

Reporting: Prepare financial records and budgets, tracking department or product expenditures.

Requirements

Education: A bachelor's degree or its equivalent is required.

Experience: Around 5 years of experience in a related area as an individual contributor.
