    The Counsel will provide support to the VP-Chief Counsel Global Marketing & Media, the global Marketing and Consumer Experience (media) organizations working on and leading initiatives related to global marketing digital transformation, creative, media, production, technology and digital content initiatives, as well as supporting global Marketing, Consumer Experience, Procurement, Mondelez Digital Services (MDS), global brand equity teams, and other functions across the enterprise working cross-functionally and focused on marketing, media, brand initiatives, social media, digital commerce, MarTech, Gen AI and related topics. The role also supports the Corporate & Legal Affairs Department (including through the Center Of Excellence (COE) structure) with respect to developing strategy and providing leadership with regard to global agency agreements and brand initiatives with an emphasis on risk management and mitigation, developing templates, global frameworks, policies, and training, as well as drafting, negotiation and leadership for global contracts related to marketing, media, marketing and media tech, data, Gen AI, digital commerce and social media. Counsel will handle all matters of this role in a manner that protects the best interests of the Company, as well as the integrity, reputation, assets, officers, and employees, while ensuring that the Company operates in compliance with the laws. The role is intended to lead, develop strategy and global frameworks as well as support global initiatives, promote a globally consistent standards, processes and ways of working in connection with legal support for the same. It will be focused on developing strategy for global best practices and communicating, coordinating and supporting those within CLA globally, the BU and COE structure, MDS, and Procurement, as well as supporting the VP-Chief Counsel Global Marketing & Media in relation to all ongoing matters.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provides legal advice, contract and project support, as well as leadership and strategy development, to VP-Chief Counsel Global Marketing and Media and to global functions related to global and multi-regional marketing, media, marketing and media tech, data, Gen AI, emerging technology,and social media issues including such as:

    • ISC and Global Marketing and Consumer Experience: Global Marketing and Media Procurement and Stakeholders involved in Global Marketing initiatives.

    • MDS: Agreements, Projects, Gen AI

    • Global Marketing & Media COE Participation:CLA COE service delivery model structure related to global marketing, media, marketing and media tech, data and social media at the global, regional and BU level directly and through COE structure, including participation and leadership of global projects.

    • Effectively drafts, negotiates, advises on, provides strategy for, and reviews commercial contracts, policies, projects and business and legal documents related to global marketing, media, social media, Gen AI, consumer data, digital transformation and media tech and data.

    • Negotiates, drafts and manages stakeholders related to NDAs, including three party NDAs for sharing confidential information and data with external partners.

    • Provide tools and support to the execution of global projects related to global marketing, media, licensing, tech and data,Gen AI, global brand programs, including risk management and mitigation, global framework development and best practices.

    • Responsibility for content curation, drafting and deployment of monthly Newsletter to Global Marketing Legal Community of Practice

    • Responsibility for curation, structure and execution of team information and materials in connection with CLA Knowledge Management tool as well as global Marketing Knowledge Managment tools, coordinating with cross functional stakeholders.

    • Manages and provides effective solutions for resolution of disputes with commercial business partners related to marketing and media, taking leadership and project management responsibility for same.

    • Identifies and proposes solutions for legal training needs and requirements, recommends process introductions / amendments to address new developments, and develops and delivers trainings, all in the area of global marketing, media, tech, data, Gen AI, social media and related digital initiatives, including enforcement of MDLZ rights and risk management and mitigation.

    • Keeps the Global Team, stakeholders and CLA abreast of significant decisions, legislation and governmental regulatory rulings that may affect company's business or policy as it relates to the areas of responsibility.

    • Helps develop strategy for related areas and ensures that the global standards and related Policies are applied and understood within the Company.

    Qualifications :

    • Law Degree from an accredited school and top academic credentials, and licensed to practice law in at least in one jurisdiction company operates.

    • 3 years+ experience in intellectual property, marketing, media law

    • Excellent management skills, business judgment with a capacity to make decisions and give advice, which demonstrates an understanding of overall business objectives and the risks/rewards of each situation.

    • Strong research and writing skills, leadership skills and ability to think and work strategically.

    • Impeccable professional and personal integrity.

    • Demonstration of ability to communicate effectively with a non-legal audience

    • Related substantive understanding and experience with social media, marketing, media, production and commercial transactions, Gen AI and MarTech, including substantial experience with the preparation and review of commercial contracts and project team participation and execution of deliverables.

    • Prior CPG experience preferred

    • Fluent in spoken and written English

    • Stong detail orientation and organizational skills

    • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally as well as cope with stressful situations and deadlines.

    • Excellent problem solving, project management, and time management skills.
