  • JOB SUMMARY

    The DEI Educator is responsible for the content creation and delivery of Rady Children's DEI education and professional development. Oversees day-to-day operations of DEI education and support staff, working collaboratively with discipline and program leaders to manage all aspects of curriculum development, training scheduling & implementation, data collection and reporting, budget monitoring & compliance with regulatory requirements. A successful candidate should have:

    -3+ years designing and implementing DEI education and initiatives with diverse stakeholders (i.e., professional development, large group facilitation, survey data tracking/analysis)

    -Experience in designing and developing DEI-related education.

    -Facilitating DEI sessions and training DEI facilitators.

    -Expertise with best practices, cutting edge theory, and organizational change theories for ensuring a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.

    -Experience with serving diverse communities and deep engagement with supporting leaders and employees.

    -Strong analytical skills and ability to translate metrics, research, and trends into curriculum.

    -The ability to communicate Rady Children's institutional vision around DEI efforts, provide inhouse training to Rady team members; capture and share Rady Children's successes, challenges, and lessons learned.

    -Develop content, coordinate, and analyze research focused on DEI practices such as unconscious bias, microaggressions, cultural humility, restorative justice, and anti-racism.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    Bachelor's Degree

    3 Years of Experience

    Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to work in a Windows environment

    PREFERRED QUALFICATIONS

    5 Years of Experience

    The expected hiring range for this position is $35.84 to $49.28
