Delivery Manager

Job Description Summary

In this role, you will work closely with customers to understand and define their requirements, develop technical proposals, and implement GE digital solutions. You will act as the functional consultant, the technical lead, as well as an individual contributor, on these engagements, Leading software implementations, upgrades, and integration projects, ensuring customer satisfaction, while balancing scope versus project time and resource commitments.

Job Responsibilities

You will act as an SME for the organization, coordinating cross-organizationally and independently mentoring peers. this role requires deep APM domain knowledge.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the implementation and integration of technical solutions for customers.

• Provide expert knowledge and experience to collaborate with the customer to convert business requirement to technical requirements, estimate the technical effort required to implement complex software solutions, support in tender reviews and the development of scope of work.

• OWN/Drive technical analysis activities, such as requirements gathering and gap analysis of user requirements. find ways to bridge the gap through configuration, customization or enhancements. Convey gap to product management function

• Contribute to the definition of GE's Digital Products and Solution architecture and development of detailed design specifications

• Collaborate with Project Managers throughout the project to identify and scope applications changes, and propose solutions/help project manager determine the strategy and drive the change management process

• Lead with cross-functional teams as required for the solution and implement processes to ensure best use of GE's Digital Products and Services to meet project requirements

• Own technical deliverables during the entire lifecycle of the projects

• Engage throughout the full lifecycle of assigned projects, influencing decisions on architecture, design and functionality to keep projects on track in terms of budget, time, and customer expectations

• Effectively leverage product capability, driving standardization, limiting customization, and maximizing reuse of content developed for previous solutions

• Follow technical review processes and provide insights for product enhancements

• Maintain strong customer relational and communication skills

• Lead onsite workouts and develop technical presentations for internal and external customer

• Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with team members, customers, and leadership

• Effective apply GE Digital execution methodology and project standards

• Maintain & continuously update technical skills and knowledge

• Work independently as well as part of the team

• Provide technical support to the commercial teams and sales process improvement.

• Actively participate in early-stage product installations

• Create efficient delivery processes for new products

Required Characteristics

• Experienced in using GE product on e-terra habitat, e-terra control e-terra browser, e-terra platform, e-terra SCADA, FG builder, ETS ,ICCP, DTS, e-terra archive, ISD protocol. Or GE product Reliance.

• Strong Energy Management System (EMS) background (SCADA System, Network, Generation, ICCP and DTS) in system integration and site commissioning roles from engineering design phase till final delivery

• Bachelor's Degree with minimum of 5 years of experience.

Technical Expertise:

• Experience with enterprise software and large distributed systems

• Practical experience with web and other technologies such as HTML 5, Javascript, CSS and JQuery

• 5+ years' experience in software analysis, design, methodology, implementation and architecture

• Deep knowledge with Windows, .NET, SQL databases, Web Services and SOA technologies

• Strong spoken and written English language skills

• Experience with data extraction and conversion

• Understanding of SSL security. Understanding of certificate management and the concept of root certificate authorities (CAs), intermediates, and the implications of a trust chain when custom certificates or public key infrastructure (PKI) are used.

• Experience with release management methodology to ensure timely releases with minimal customer installation effort and few defects

• Ability to develop project tools and templates to facilitate ease of implementation

• Ability to articulate GE's value proposition to customers

• Understand customers' needs in an industrial setting

• Ability to make basic technology choices based on experience

• Demonstrate awareness about competitors and industry

• Voice opinions and presents clear rationale using data or factual evidence to influence Look for opportunities to improve the customer experience while maintaining business requirements

• Ability to plan for and implement product version upgrades into a customer production environment.

• Ability to design hardware and software architecture based on project requirements

• Experienced in deploying VM in VDC for EMS, PDS, DTS, MDL, FEP and RDS Server with required software application installation and configuration.

• Proven abilities in on-time in-full delivery of EMS/DMS projects.

• Experienced in viper deployment for EMS, PDS, DTS, MDL, FEP and RDS Server with required software application installation and configuration.

• Comprehensive knowledge on Azure/Devops Agile methodologies Sprint planning resource allocation and follow-up to meet the deliverable.

• Envisions technology landscape best practices and translates them to requirements, architecture and tooling. Defines governance models and engagement processes for use by dependent functions. Viewed as an authority on scalability/supportability, an arbiter on design/development viability and an agent that safeguards customer investments against obsolescence and limits to expansion.

Additional Information

The salary range for this position is $104,000USD -$156,000USD. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus. Available benefits include be Health, Medical, 401K, and Paid Leave.
