    About the Role:

    The Director of Reporting Analytics Management is responsible for collaboratively leading and contributing to the strategic direction of Construction. In this role, you will be working with a broad set of leaders and departments across Construction, Engineering, Operations and Sales to identify areas of opportunity and help to drive organizational change. One goal of this position is to gather consumable and accurate data that can be confidently shared with senior leadership. You will work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company.

    This role requires excellent attention to detail to discover opportunities for improving and resolving reporting issues to enable Construction to be able to strategically plan and focus on results.This position demands a self-starter who is comfortable engaging senior leadership and work across functional groups within the organization and with vendors external to the organization to achieve goals.Additionally, you will be responsible for suggesting and implementing new approaches, monitoring processes, and developing solutions for reporting on the key construction data drivers.

    You will lead as a player-coach who enjoys digging into analytics to problem solve while coaching your team to continually improve and strive to be the best at what they do.

    What You'll Do:

    • Participates with other senior leaders to determine and set strategic plans and objectives that align with organizational goals.

    • Ability to concisely communicate to senior level management within the Company by providing accurate, timely and effective communications and analytics reports.

    • Build and maintain data environments that support insights to solve complex operational and financial problems.

    • Translate large data sets into consumable summary analysis and reporting environments.

    • Identify process improvements and automation opportunities to drive operational efficiencies within the team and organization.

    • Train, mentor and communicate with team members to drive higher employee engagement.

    • Drive continuous improvement practices across the organization. Lead process improvement efforts, influence cross-functional efforts to proactively identify process failure points that lead to errors.

    • Identify and design solutions that eliminate manual work associated with reporting and data collection efforts.

    • Provides thought-provoking leadership throughout the organization to foster innovation, teamwork, and appropriate risk-taking.

    • Provides direction, advice, and mentorship to the management team and staff on issues and assists in removing roadblocks to ensure positive outcomes.

    • Serve as Single Point of Escalation for data analytics and drives resolution by inserting influence, direction, and decision making to ensure performance goals are met.

    • Other duties as assigned including the ability to work flexible hours and travel to meet Windstream business needs.

    Do You Have?

    • Innate curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit that leans in to solve complex data issues.

    • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to summarize and present detailed information to technical and non-technical audiences, both individually and in a group setting.

    • Detail oriented with the ability to quickly identify errors and root cause and determine how best to correct them.

    • Strong time management and organizational skills.

    • Strong business domain expertise in the areas of processes and systems, with a proven track record of providing results.

    • Strong project leadership skills and execution focus to drive results through performance - both at the individual level and at the team level.

    • Proven ability to plan and organize workloads and work within multiple deadlines.

    • Effective leadership skills required to lead and manage a team effectively.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.

    • Experience developing and presenting information to all audiences, including senior executives.

    • Working knowledge of construction and engineering principles and practices within the Telecom industry.

    Minimum Requirements:

    College degree in Business, IT, or a related field and 10+ years professional level experience with 3-5 years supervisory experience; or 14+ years professional level related Business/IT experience with 3-5 years supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related Business/IT experience required.

    The starting compensation range for this job is $112,600 to $150,800.
