  • Summary:

    Meta is seeking a Director and Global Head of Corporate Responsibility to lead its centralized corporate responsibility program and function. The Director and Global Head of Corporate Responsibility will be responsible for overseeing the organization's global corporate responsibility strategy and dedicated team. This role will help build the internal infrastructure at Meta, playing a critical role in shaping the future of the team and Meta's strategy and reporting in the coming years. This will be a highly dynamic role, addressing complex multi-stakeholder issues and involving strategy development and implementation, internal and external stakeholder engagement, communications, and reporting - all in partnership with Meta's businesses and functions. Meta is looking for a candidate with proven leadership experience and skills to drive the successful development of the corporate responsibility program and navigate through new and emerging regulatory obligations.

    Required Skills:

    Director and Global Head, Corporate Responsibility Responsibilities:

    1. Oversee execution of long-term enterprise-wide corporate responsibility strategy, including actively identifying and prioritizing opportunities to further corporate responsibility performance

    2. Lead and oversee ESG regulation readiness and drive alignment and collaboration across Meta to be prepared for and compliant with new and emerging non-financial reporting requirements

    3. Oversee preparation and publication of mandatory and voluntary ESG-related reporting, including CSRD reporting, Meta's annual Responsible Business Practices Report and coordination with other reporting efforts

    4. Facilitate management of enterprise-wide ESG goals and KPIs and oversee tracking of progress

    5. Oversee development of a data governance system including data collection and management across relevant teams

    6. Drive corporate responsibility thought leadership and maintain knowledge of relevant market trends and innovations in order to act as an advisor to Meta leadership in these areas

    7. Provide regular briefings to key internal stakeholders, including senior leadership and the Audit and Risk Oversight Committee of the board of directors

    8. communicate the value proposition of corporate responsibility efforts in line with the business strategy

    9. Together with the Corporate Secretary, collaborate with Investor Relations, Communications, Policy and other groups at Meta to engage with external stakeholders

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Minimum Qualifications

    1. 12+ years of corporate work experience

    2. Proven knowledge of relevant trends, standards, frameworks, and regulatory requirements (e.g., UN SDGs, SASB, TCFD, CSRD)

    3. Proven relationship management skills to collaborate with and influence a diverse set of cross-functional internal and external stakeholders

    4. Superior communication skills with attention to detail

    5. Proven people management experience with demonstrated experience leading multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

    6. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex issues

    7. Takes a companywide approach to the work and can hold multiple perspectives at once in a challenging area, can engage with shareholders and other stakeholders through an objective lens

    8. Experience translating strategic vision into concrete action plans for implementation across a global organization

    9. Proven experience designing and leading a corporate responsibility, ESG or similar program and can manage multiple interdependencies at once

    Preferred Qualifications:

    1. Relative data and analytics fluency to oversee impact measurement and reporting efforts

    2. Previous experience in the technology industry and/or collaborating across the private, public, and social sectors

    3. 5+ years of experience in a corporate responsibility or ESG-related area

    Public Compensation:

    $217,000/year to $282,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
