Purpose & Scope:
This job leads the Astellas US employee benefits function. The incumbent leads the planning, development, design, implementation, and ongoing management of a full array of employee benefits offered by Astellas US to attract, motivate, and retain employees.
Astellas is at the leading edge of employee benefits programs and this job is the Company's expert on all Astellas US employee benefit programs. The incumbent requires strong previous experience to manage the evolution of Astellas US employee benefit programs as they advance in complex ways reacting to changes in the US healthcare environment, the regulatory environment, and the competitive marketplace.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
o Health and wellness programs: medical/prescription, dental, vision, health advocate, EAP, FSA, Teladoc, retiree medical program, etc.
o Life and Disability: STD salary continuation and LTD insurance
