    About the Role:

    In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades of our systems, both commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom solutions. The Director, Global Systems will lead the development of our IT department's application development strategy and influence a global team.

    What You Will Be Doing

    • Oversee the development and maintenance of global systems, inclusive of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom solutions

    • Lead strategic planning activities and participate in the development of future-state roadmaps

    • Understand organizational business requirements to support top-down business strategies and objectives

    • Lead and manage the identification and acquisition of new software, including renewals

    • Lead and manage 3rd party vendor software acquisition processes such as quotes, purchases, implementation, deployment, support, and maintenance

    • Review and approve 3rd party vendor software contracts

    • Collaborate with 3rd party vendors ensuring professional services satisfy business objectives

    • Adopt and roll-out systems development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, enabling high-quality system delivery

    • Build customer relationships to identify and resolve business issues

    The Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution/college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, Master's degree preferred

    • 7-10 years Information Technology experience

    • 4 years people management experience

    • 2 years hands-on application development experience

    • 2 years experience leading 3rd party vendor software acquisition and professional services activities and IT projects

    • In-depth knowledge and experience with systems development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and NIST cybersecurity framework

    • Understanding of IT SOX Compliance regulations and related business processes and IT infrastructure best practices and solutions (e.g IaaS, PaaS, etc)

    • Experience developing and executing a long-term IT strategy and conducting executive presentations and identifying quantifying business opportunities

    • In-depth hands-on experience with MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)

    • Multilingual capabilities are a plus
