    KPMG is currently seeking a Director, IT Contract & Asset Management to join our Digital Nexus organization.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead a team dedicated to fulfilling the organization's mission of executing industry leading IT Asset Management and cost optimization practices; drive team engagement, and ongoing continuous improvement and creating a culture of transparency and communication throughout the organization

    • Conduct necessary due diligence and preparation for formal performance development conversations and set goals, offer feedback, develop training plans, and provide long-term career guidance to counselees; regularly engage with counselees and those they work with to help them continuously improve; work to increase counselees' engagement, job satisfaction, and pride; Integrate new team members; bring team members and their ideas together, connect counselees to the people, resources, and opportunities to help further their career goals and development; be a role model for doing the right things and treating people the right way

    • Accountable for assigning the right people to the right projects at the right time within budget and timelines; ensure team members have skills and tools to perform their jobs; act as point of escalation to leadership; lead the development and design of a technology asset management vision, strategy and implementation path, as well as continuous improvement; champion the alignment to the applicable strategies, and adherence to them, the related commitments, the budget and management of the risk

    • Serve as a significant contributor to innovation that has impact and creates a high financial / client value / efficiency impact within department; develop the strategy and financial models for technology assets aligning with IT business strategy including but not limited to Cloud and as-a-service transitional initiatives

    • Optimize performance, quality and cost of the delivery function by defining and implementing proper resource offshore / onshore mix, increasing automation and process efficiency; interact regularly with delivery partners and/or department leaders; proactively initiate ideas to improve client service for a specific work product within a department; contribute to department or group objectives, strategy and priorities; set tactical plan for execution of strategic objectives with a focus on continuous improvement

    • Accountable for driving execution of technical strategy and managing a team of IT Asset Management experts, intermediate and junior employees, as well as partnering with 3rd party outsourced provider teams that perform within set technical guidelines and standard operating procedures

    Qualifications

    • Minimum ten years of recent IT Asset Management Lifecycle experience, managing all activities that support stakeholders from strategy planning to contracting of technology assets through the full life cycle

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; master's degree from an accredited college/university is preferred

    • Experience leading an IT Asset Management team comprised of US and Global resources with a focus on increasing maturity and maintaining industry leading processes and practices; lead and drive change and effectively communicate information to executives and key stakeholders for efficient and successful execution

    • Advanced knowledge of the broader scope that frames the essential technical IT Asset Management work with ability to use this knowledge to create incremental value and technical strategy; extensive experience in the implementation and increased utilization of ITIL and in strategic solution delivery models that ensure products and/or services continue to demonstrate innovation and to drive continuous improvement

    • Prior experience implementing cost take out and cost avoidance opportunities for software and hardware acquisition and maintenance/support with a working knowledge of common contractual issues and mitigation strategies for hardware and software asset management; demonstrated knowledge of IT Asset Management discovery, monitoring/tracking, and optimization tools such as ServiceNow and Flexera FNMS, IT Visibility and IT processes and controls

    • Exceptional verbal/written communication, collaboration, presentation and negotiation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and team work; ability to foster the development of high performance teams; capable of building strong professional relationships with ability to influence all levels across the organization; able to set and execute team strategic and continuous improvement initiatives impacting people, process and tools; creative thinker with ability to identify and implement innovative business solutions; ability to develop strategic organization and resource plans, defining next generation business and leadership needs
