  • ROLE SUMMARY

    The Director, Organizational Development (OD) and Culture Transformation is a key member of the Global Talent Solution Team (GTS) and is responsible for driving organizational change and bringing innovation in developing Pfizer culture to support company's strategic goals and values. This role will partner with People Experience (PX), GTS, and Learning and Development leaders across the enterprise to design solutions, implement Talent Engagement and Change Management programs, and assess effectiveness to ensure continuous improvement. An ideal candidate would be a proactive self-starter and risk-taking OD practitioner with an innate ability to manage multiple priorities, pay strong attention to detail, collaborate across the stakeholders, and have a strong knowledge of OD best practices.

    ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

    Culture Leadership

    Own strategy and delivery of enterprise culture initiatives to enhance organization effectiveness. Facilitate development of strategic solutions with key stakeholders, ability to see and manage interdependences, and pursue novel solutions to meet business needs.Analyze and understand the Pfizer cultural strengths, and opportunities. Understand innovative industry trends, leading practices, and benchmarks to effectively prioritize and apply existing and emerging ideas to enable new and evolving business and operating models.Conduct organizational assessments and use data-driven insights to uncover potential pain points and identify areas for development and change.

    Transformational Program Design and Adoption Management

    Lead end-to-end culture change journeys from ideation to adoption. Design user-centric enablement, i.e., learning, resources, and tools, leveraging AI and automation where applicable in partnership with Digital. Build and maintain engagement of community of Practice across the enterprise. Ensure programs/initiatives are positioned in a way that will be impactful in context of the business. Develop roadmap and execute initiatives to achieve program objectives and outcomes, including adoption and colleagues' engagement strategy. Continuously solicit user-feedback and lead co-creation workshops to identify actionable insights, measure programs' effectiveness, and take actions to adjust the course. Ensure smooth transitions during periods of adoption. Continuously refine microsite to drive participation.

    Learning and Communication

    Lead and develop awareness strategy and collaborate with Communication and Change Management teams on targeting key audiences as applicable. Design training and development frameworks to enable programs' adoption at enterprise scale.Identify colleagues' skill gaps and design appropriate interventions. Collaborate with L&D team on implementation strategy for learning.

    Influencing and Collaboration

    Promote a positive Pfizer culture as best place to work in alignment with the company's values. Effectively articulate GTS's goals, inspire, and build strong relationships across the enterprise to align and integrate GTS programs with other core organizational and talent concepts. Provide strategic consultation, thought partnership, and guidance to diagnose and design solutions that will advance and optimize performance. Mentor, coach, and guide team members, and other colleagues, creating strong collaborative and engaging organizational culture.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree required.

    • At least 15 years of direct or related experience in large scale process improvement, organizational development, change management, or a related field.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to synthesize problems to develop innovative solutions.

    • Track record of successfully structuring and developing bold and innovative strategies from the ground up. Strong planning and project management skills.

    • Strong business acumen and ability to see the bigger picture at every decision point, using an enterprise mindset.

    • Ability to adapt to change / Be comfortable with uncertainty and build relationships across the organization.

    • Ability to influence, work collaboratively across all levels, and lead without direct authority.

    • Practical thinker with demonstrated ability to keep things simple and positively impact the business.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Familiarity with organizational development theories, change management methodologies, and best practices in learning and development.

    • Ability to work with external vendors, including Request For Proposal process and overall management of vendors' deliverables.

    • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • MBA, MA in Organizational Development/Industrial Psychology, Human Resources Management or related field a plus.

    • Previous experience building/executing enterprise (Center of Excellence) workforce planning, culture and change management strategy preferred.

    • Track record of facilitating and collaborating successfully with enterprise stakeholders preferred.

    The annual base salary for this position ranges from $149,200.00 to $248,600.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
