    The Director of Business Development will be responsible for marketing the totality of Arrow's broad range of technology solutions to potential customers across a breadth of industries to develop and capture new business. Through strategic collaboration across all of Arrow's businesses, the Director of Business Development will create the strategy and lead sales efforts to develop and deliver competitive, value-based solutions to expand market share and achieve organizational objectives.

    What You Will Be Doing:

    • Through in-depth knowledge of Arrow's businesses, services, and offerings, lead the identification, evaluation, and development of new market opportunities and strategic potential clients.

    • Develop the vision, strategy, plans and processes necessary to drive and support sales.

    • Establish and grow a funnel of opportunities through lead generation, opportunity qualification and capture planning.

    • Use weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasting and pipeline management to ensure market share and sales growth.

    • Apply a consultative and customized sales approach to each prospective business opportunity. Assemble the right combination of Arrow leaders and subject matter experts to deliver a scalable solution for the customer.

    • Oversee and be accountable for business proposals and contracts for new business opportunities.

    • Interface and collaborate with other critical functions to ensure that proper support exists within the company for all business development efforts.

    • Foster an environment of teamwork and participation within Arrow and collaborate with other selling organizations to strengthen value selling to customers.

    • Post-close, establish business reviews to track performance and surface new opportunities as the customer and Arrow relationship strengthens.

    What we are looking for:

    • Minimum 15+ years of demonstrated success growing a global business-to-business sales function to growth, profitability, and account expansion.

    • Strong, proven business development mindset to engage prospective clients with demonstrated collaborative selling capabilities cross-functionality.

    • Prior experience leading cross-functionally in a fast-paced team environment, with excellent relationship and team building skills to develop a customized solution.

    • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver value-based, complex proposals to C-level/senior management decision makers selling Arrow's value proposition and vast capabilities.

    • Experience leading and closing complex deal negotiations.

    • Expert consultative sales skills with the ability to convert leads into opportunities.

    • Proven prior success selling into world's largest companies.

    • Strategic business development experience within the electronics distribution, component supplier, enterprise computing distribution, electronics manufacturing, high-tech, and or/software solutions segments strongly preferred.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present to, interact with, and influence C-level executives and/or senior management.

    • Entrepreneurial and innovative mindset with passion to grow and scale a sales function.

    • Ability to travel up to 50%

    • An initial remote work arrangement is acceptable, however a relocation to Colorado will be required within two years.

    Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

    $175,100.00 - $275,000.00

    Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.

    Remote work employees may be required to be present at the closest designated Arrow office for work-related purposes, at the Company's request and sole discretion.
