Your Superpowers

• Become the mastermind behind our accounting function, shaping the destiny of financial reporting, technical accounting, regulatory rules, GAAP and much more.

• Be the guardian of our financial reporting fort, creating an impenetrable stronghold of policies and protocols, always in alignment with GAAP and statutory regulations.

• Use your x-ray vision to keep our financial statements accurate, complete and timely - always staying within GAAP and regulatory guardrails.

Your Justice League Includes

• Statutory reporting for various councils and agencies;

• Overseeing statutory and GAAP audits, ensuring evil financial foes can't fiddle with our figures;

• Strategizing and guiding our financial operations while leading all finance and accounting activities with a heroic hand.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.

• Extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in investment accounting and financial reporting within the financial services industry.

• Proven track record of managing a team and driving results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• In-depth knowledge of investment accounting principles, financial instruments, and relevant regulatory requirements.

• Strong understanding of accounting software, financial reporting tools, and data analytics.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Effective communication and presentation abilities, capable of conveying complex financial information to diverse audiences.

• Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, integrity, and ethical conduct.
