Director of Operations

Description

Prominent Real Estate company is looking for an Operations Manager to join their team! Ideally looking for someone out a smaller or midsized organization, Construction/Developmnent or Real Estate preferred. Will be involved in property management, company financials, and oversight and management of staff. This position will be an integral role to the organization and will report directly to the CEO.

Duties and Responsibilities

Management support, such as evaluating and selecting vendors preparing and managing vendor RFP processes; and managing vendor relationships as well as tenants

• Manage tenant relations, address any maintenance calls for all rental buildings, sales/ marketing of vacant units, current lease expirations/renewals, rent collection of all residential and commercial tenants.

• Field all resident maintenance requests and service calls by dispatching a Maintenance Technician and/or relevant vendors within specified time frame. Ensure work orders are handled in a timely fashion. Follow up with tenants regarding completed work orders

• Manage client relationships, providing excellent customer servicing while enforcing loan document/lender requirements

• Handle Accounting and Payroll. Manage basic financial matters, such as bill payments; collecting receivables; maintaining financial records and handling banking matters. Maintain all accounting in Excel and in QuickBooks.

Requirements

7-10 years of relevant experience

• Must have a small company background

• Must be out of construction or development, property mgt companies, contracting companies or a family office

• Good leadership skills - will be managing a team

• Strong presentation

• QuickBooks
