    At CoStar Group, the Tenant Canvassing team plays a critical role in capturing data that supports all CoStar Group products.? Whether capturing information around new tenants and their occupancy or identifying available space, our research brings significant value to the real estate industry.? The team has an intense focus on reconciling and capturing all current tenants and available listings in high priority commercial properties to ensure a complete picture of the market is accurately portrayed to our clients. Reporting to the Vice President of Tenant Research, we are in search of a Director of Tenant Canvassing who will lead and inspire a management team responsible for growing a team of world class researchers.? This individual's mandate will be to ensure timely delivery of quality property records with reconciled availability and tenant data across our products.?They will need to bring?a strong operational mindset and leadership to the position.?This role will be based out of our Richmond, VA office.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead a team of tenant canvassing managers and individual contributors using a strong operational mindset to ensure individual metrics and quality standards are being met

    • Develop and recruit strong operational leadership to support the growingorganization

    • Coach and develop managers and individual researchers to drive success

    • Leadand optimizeon-boarding and training programs that focus on driving integration of new team members and the on-going development of researchers and managers

    • Ensure operational metrics are being met by teams and provide feedback to the team

    • Strategizeto overcome operational challenges and provide on-going and real time feedback to managers and teammembers

    • Focus on continuous improvement of workflows and processes to drive optimization and innovation

    • Collaborate with Product, Research, and ITdepartments to deliver the most accurate data possible on behalf of our customers

    Qualifications :

    • Bachelors required and Masters preferred

    • 5-8 years of experience leading large-scale dispersed teams (50+) against deadlines and deliverables

    • Proven track record driving accountability with managers and leading in a metric driven organization

    • Demonstrated ability to operate in fast paced environment with high creative and delivery standards

    • Ability to collaborate across functional areas to deliver assignments

    • Passion and interest in real estate is a plus
