    Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems ~~~ recruiting for a Director, Pricing Strategy within its Strategic Customer Group (SCG) on the Value Access & Pricing(VAP), Cardiovascular Metabolism team located in Titusville, NJ.

    The Director Pricing Strategy will:

    • Be responsible for the development and implementation of brand pricing strategies for Cardiovascular Metabolism in-market and pipeline products. This individual will interact with Senior Brand Leaders, SCG Leadership Team, Legal, Healthcare Compliance (HCC) and Finance in the establishment and implementation of pricing and contracting strategies. This position will report to the Senior Director of VAP Cardiovascular Metabolism.

    • Serve as a brand and business development pricing lead by synthesizing customer, industry and competitive insights and intelligence to guide in developing channel and franchise pricing strategies.

    • Demonstrate their ability to be a strategic thinker by taking concepts from fruition to implementation.

    • Ensure awareness of price as key component of the marketing mix at the gross and net level. Effectively work with all key stakeholders to drive alignment on the pricing strategies and how they impact business.

    • Lead Contracting and Pricing Committee (CPC) discussions regarding pricing strategies with Legal, Finance, Contracting Administration, HCC and other key stakeholders.

    • Develop contract strategy dashboards tracking pricing strategies and business impact. Proactively conducts competitive analysis and evaluate the changing marketplace and proactively make recommendations on pricing strategies and present to Senior Management.

    • Develop product value offerings to capitalize on product efficacy and other competitive attributes in lieu of rebates and off invoice discounts.

    • Understand and articulate the impact of price changes on Gross to Net (GtN) sales as well as patient out-of-pocket spend.

    • Work with VP VAP & Sr. Dir VAP Cardiovascular Metabolism on list price actions and price management & information.

    • Act as a pricing strategy lead on customer contract negotiations and discussions. Support new business teams as an expert providing pricing insights to deal analysis. Develop Innovative Pricing Strategies and programs to insure patient and provider access at a reasonable GtN.

    • Lead, develop and empower direct report.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing or other critical thinking major required; advanced business degree (MBA) or CPA preferred.

    • 10 or more years of work experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry required.

    • Solid knowledge of the U.S. payer system, price regulations/reporting as well as state reporting requirements.

    • Emphasis in finance, marketing or strategic/product functions preferred.

    • Experience in pricing or contracting or account management preferred.

    • Ability to lead/influence others collaboratively required; this includes account management, brand management, strategic planning, legal, finance, HCC and other key stakeholders.

    • Strong understanding of reimbursement/payment models and customer structures preferred. Strong financial or marketing background preferred.

    • Ability to influence large/diverse teams without direct authority is required.

    • Ability to develop internal/external collaborations and build positive, constructive relationships across all levels and disciplines is required

    • This position is based in Titusville, NJ and may require some limited travel.

    • The anticipated base pay range for this position is: $142,000 - $244,950

    • The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
