    Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. (Strategic Customer Group) is recruiting for a Director, Pricing Strategy within its SCG (Strategic Customer Group) on the Hematology VAP (Value Access & Pricing) Oncology team located in Horsham PA.

    The HEM Oncology Director Pricing Strategy is:

    • Responsible for the development and implementation of brand pricing strategies for certain Oncology in-market and pipeline products. This individual will interact with Senior Brand Leaders, SCG Leadership Team, Legal, HCC and Finance in the establishment and implementation of pricing and contracting strategies. This position reports to the Senior Director of VAP Oncology.

    • Serves as a brand and BD pricing lead by synthesizing customer, governmental, industry and competitive insights & intelligence to guide in developing channel and franchise pricing strategies.

    • Helps contribute to the payer value props for the Brands and acts in the spirit of "One VAP" with the VAP Brand Market Access Marketers.

    • Proven strategic thinker, taking concepts to fruition/implementation.

    • Ensures awareness of price as key component of the marketing mix at the gross and net level. Effectively work with all key stakeholders to drive alignment on the pricing strategies and how they impact business.

    • Leads CPC (Contracting and Pricing Committee) discussions regarding pricing strategies with Legal, Finance, Contracting Administration, HCS, HCC (Healthcare Compliance) and other key stakeholders.

    • Develops contract strategy dashboards tracking pricing strategies and business impact. Proactively conducts competitive analysis and evaluate the changing marketplace and proactively make recommendations on pricing strategies and present to Senior Management.

    • Develops product value offerings to capitalize on product efficacy and other competitive attributes in lieu of OIDs (Off Invoice Discounts).

    • Understands and articulates the impact of price changes on Gross to Net sales as well as patient out-of-pocket spend.

    • Works with VP VAP & Sr. Dir VAP HEM Oncology on LPAs (list price actions) and price management & information.

    • Acts as a pricing strategy lead on customer contract negotiations and discussions. Support new business teams as an expert providing pricing insights to deal analysis. Develop Innovative Pricing Strategies and programs to insure patient and provider access at a reasonable GtN.

    • Leads direct reports and develops them for future position. Hires with an eye to DE&I and future capabilities.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing or other critical thinking major required; advanced business degree (MBA) or CPA preferred.

    • 7 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry required.

    • Solid knowledge of the U.S. payer system, price regulations/reporting as well as state reporting requirements.

    • Emphasis in finance, marketing or strategic/product functions preferred.

    • Experience in pricing or contracting or account management preferred.

    • Ability to lead/influence others collaboratively required; this includes account management, brand management, strategic planning, legal, finance, HCC and other key stakeholders.

    • Ability to take data and information and distill them into discernable meaning and possible actionable strategies

    • Strong understanding of reimbursement/payment models and customer structures preferred. Strong financial or marketing background preferred.

    • Ability to influence large/diverse teams without direct authority is required.

    • Ability to develop internal/external collaborations and build positive, constructive relationships across all levels and disciplines is required

    • This position is based in Horsham, PA and may require some limited travel.
