    Your Day to Day:

    Purpose of the Role

    The Director, Program Management will lead the planning, financial management and execution of a portfolio of IT projects and programs. Must have experience with business operations in China, including standard business practices, regulatory environment, CyberSecurity Law, Personal Information Protection Law, Data Security Law, Cross Border Data Transfer, etc.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Directs the Cross Border Data Transfer program and collaborates across the product towers and other technology services functions to report on delivery and quality metrics.

    • Create annual business plans, budgets and performance targets to achieve department goals.

    • Lead the implementation of program-specific strategic initiatives and ensures alignment with the supported regional strategies.

    • Manages the program health, financial management and acts as the conduit across the organization for project or program management related processes.

    • Sets program deployment strategies to ensure program standards are maintained and maintains ownership of

    • program deployment tools.

    • Create/manage process for standard project status reporting;

    • Monthly review of portfolio risks/issues

    What We Need From You:

    Education -

    Bachelor's or Master's Degree in IT or Project Management, or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience

    Experience -

    • 8-10 years in IT, project management, hospitality, or other consumer-facing industry, preferably within a large multi-national company that includes China

    • Experience with business operations in China, including standard business practices, regulatory environment, CyberSecurity Law, Personal Information Protection Law, Data Security Law, Cross Border Data Transfer, etc.

    • Demonstrated strategic proficiency in program management over large, complex programs

    • Experience in engaging cross functional working partnerships in a global organization

    • Strong decision making, influencing/consensus building and analytical skills with clear understanding of impact on IHG revenue goals and bottom-line

    • Strong leadership, team building, interpersonal and communication skills
