  • Overview

    Fairview Specialty Pharmacy is actively seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as Director of Specialty Pharmacy Industry Relations. In this role, you will manage key manufacturer specialty pharmacy and biotech accounts (~~~#!) ensuring all objectives and milestones are met to client specifications, driving financial performance and growth for Fairview Specialty Pharmacy. Other responsibilities include providing expert oversight for best-in-class implementation and account management for new specialty product and program launches with pharmaceutical manufacturers, leading initiatives with operations, risk and IT senior leadership that drive development necessary for continued successful execution of manufacturer specialty pharmacy contractual requirements and position Fairview to win additional new specialty pharmacy manufacturer business, and managing the specialty drug contacting process to maximize return on investment and minimize business risk.

    Responsibilities Job Description

    • Manage manufacturer specialty pharmacy accounts, resulting in strong business partnerships and recognition of Fairview Specialty Pharmacy as a marketplace leader and specialty pharmacy of choice.

    • Direct and lead specialty pharma client quarterly business review planning and execution to continually demonstrate Fairview's value including directing the creation of innovative content that highlights Fairview's best in class pharmacy services.

    • Assume responsibility for key success factors for new and current limited distribution drug, data and fee for service contracts, including operational and data requirements, manage communication to all internal departments to ensure execution of these requirements.

    • Collaborate with operations, risk and IT senior leaders to articulate changing market requirements and lead planning for IT and operational specifications necessary for continued successful execution of manufacturer specialty pharmacy contractual requirements and future growth.

    • Develop and manage hub relations team and corresponding services required to maximize specialty prescription capture and secure critical limited distribution drug access.

    • Manage and oversee entire specialty drug implementation life cycle.

    • Identify and engage business owners in planning and implementation for new specialty products. Identify barriers and effectively engage appropriate resources across the system to break down barriers to defined objectives.

    • Manage the specialty drug contracting process to maximize the return on investment and minimize business risk.

    Qualifications

    Required

    Education

    • Bachelor's Degree in pharmacy, business or a related field

    Experience

    • Ten years pharmacy experience in operations, sales or managed care.- Ten years leadership experience.- Proven experience with pharma industry building relationships, negotiating with others to accomplish goals and meeting outcomes.

    Education

    • MBA

    Experience

    • 10+ years in leadership role in pharmacy, healthcare or pharma.- 3-5 years within a pharmaceutical company, preferably specialty or biotech- Experience at a manufacturer of limited distribution drug, or a specialty pharmacy with access to extensive limited distribution drugs
