    Position Overview:

    This role will work closely with resources across our organization to plan and direct the successful execution of Sutter Health's system events, including bi-annual all-leader meetings, quarterly system employee events and an annual physician and clinician conference. Also supports other important events including all-board symposiums, board meetings, monthly senior leadership team meetings and a system wide nursing symposium.

    EDUCATION:

    Bachelor's degree

    TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

    8 years of leadership experience in an event production organization or as part of a group sales team at a conference hotel or venue.

    8 years of experience developing event production standards, processes, policies, procedures, and service level agreements.

    8 years of experience in budget preparation and planning, development and monitoring of staff productivity systems analysis and tracking, quality improvement and establishment of quality standards and monitors and the implementation of other key management control systems.

    8 years of experience managing complex/large scale events or conferences, including demonstrated success in coordinating those that span multiple days and include meet, eat, and sleep.

    SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

    Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of large-scale event production and management.

    Comprehensive knowledge of event production best practices and state and federal laws, standards, rules, regulations, and requirements governing all aspects of large-scale event production.

    Knowledge of event management systems and practices.

    Ability to estimate, plan and executive large scale, highly rated engagement events on time, on budget.

    Set strategy and provide superior knowledge of business processes and enabling technologies, specifically in Patient Access functions.

    Aptitude to conceptualize, plan, and implement against agreed upon goals.

    Ability to identify, prioritize, resolve and / or escalate complex problems promptly.

    Ability to successfully manage high level interactions.

    Ability to communicate ideas both verbally and in written form to influence others using one-on-one contact, formal presentations, and group discussions.

    Effective internal consulting skills along with the ability to positively influence others in a desired direction to achieve identified outcome.

    Ability to develop effective working relationships/networks within and outside the organization.

    Computer skills, including spreadsheet, word processing, presentation, database applications (Microsoft suite preferred) and an awareness of applications relevant to large-scale event production.

    Pay Range is $78.69 to $118.04 / hour

    The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
