    Summary:

    Lead US Oncology Pricing, Access Strategy and Execution for Immuno-Oncology (IO) Brands: OPDUALAG, OPDIVO and YERVOY. Collaborate closely with Commercial, Access and Medical teams in the home office and field and will be based in our Princeton Pike location in Lawrenceville, New Jersey.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead development of access strategy and execution plans for key tumors across OPDUALAG, OPDIVO and YERVOY brands

    • Prepare pipeline assets for launch inclusive of all access-related initiatives and launch plans

    • Develop brand specific access resources and act as a liaison with all cross-functional teams to ensure pull-through activities are aligned with brand objectives and priorities

    • Collaborate with Sales & Access Learning to prepare material for POA and launch meetings

    • Accountable for access-related communications including serving as primary point person for Field Access

    • Develop internal working partnerships with Worldwide Access, HEOR, Pricing, Advocacy / Policy, and Legal to drive critical decision and ensure proper execution

    • Establish relationships with the BMS field teams and external leaders to identify healthcare industry trends and insights to inform prioritization of resources

    • Translate customer learnings into actionable recommendations for growth

    • Lead the market access portion of brand planning

    • Communicate access-specific strategies to internal business partners for incorporation into brand planning and field tool development

    • Lead development and maintenance of a timeline for input into key BMS Pipeline decision points for new assets and indications

    • In partnership with Market Access leadership, establish a perspective on the future U.S. landscape relative to Access management, policy scenarios, and payment & reimbursement

    • Organize and synthesize U.S. Market Access input for key development meetings with Worldwide team

    • Owns, leads, and oversees execution of all value communications initiatives for portfolio, including initiatives and business plans for inline and pipeline products

    • Leads the development of the access value story, supported by credible clinical, health economics and quality of life messages to justify brand value; interfaces with HEOR team to guide evidence generation efforts that support payer value story development

    • Leverages understanding of the competitive landscape to anticipate and pre-empt future competitor moves by developing innovative strategies and tactics across Market Access

    • Ensures alignment on access strategy and key account plans and initiatives by partnering internally with Contracting Strategy, Value/Segment Marketing, Account Management, Brand Marketing, and Corporate Affairs

    • Develop, recruit, and retain the best people and be accountable for development plans and employee engagement

    Qualifications:

    • Must possess a bachelor's degree and an advanced degree is strongly preferred

    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to drive performance effectively and efficiently within a matrix organization

    • 3+ years of leadership experience and 8+ years in pharmaceuticals and several years of marketing and market access experience are preferred

    • Demonstrated ability to access and influence various functional areas and motivate groups to action without direct line management responsibility

    • Experience in translating insights and strategies into effective marketing tactics, and ability to drive execution of key initiatives and meet all deadlines

    • Must have strong ability to prioritize and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

    • Experience and general knowledge across multiple market channels to include Payer, Provider, Employer, PBMs, Specialty Pharmacy, Distribution, Patient Services, ACOs, IDNs, etc. is strongly preferred.

    • Understanding of benefit design, specialty pharmacy & distribution and funding economics associated with Medicare, Commercial and Medicaid Reimbursement

    • Experience and knowledge of promotional regulatory processes is key

    • Additional competencies include Strategic Planning, marketing analytics, pricing brand therapeutic area knowledge, customer / competitive insights, and Seasoned Judgment

    • Oncology experience strongly preferred

    • Proven ability to incorporate knowledge of the market and competitive landscape into brand and commercial strategies

    • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently is required

    • Occasional travel will include Launch Meetings, POAs, customer visits, market research, etc.
