    The Opportunity

    Reporting to the Regional Employee Relations Lead, as the Employee Relations Manager/Senior HR Generalist, you will manage moderately complex ER cases independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders. This is a hybrid role, requiring onsite work in Boca Raton, FL, twice per week.

    The Role

    Employee/Industrial Relations:

    • Conduct confidential investigations into serious misconduct, such as harassment and discrimination.

    • Handle Compliance Hotline/Speak Up cases from receipt to resolution.

    • Facilitate terminations and related documentation.

    • Provide feedback and guidance to business management on ER best practices.

    • Influence and gain buy-in from managers in sensitive situations.

    • Participate in program development and training on ER services.

    • Partner with internal and external legal counsel as necessary.

    • Interpret union-management collective bargaining agreements in unionized environments.

    • Foster a collegial and collaborative working environment.

    Medical Accommodations

    • Manage the medical accommodation process with stakeholders.

    • Facilitate discussions with HR Business Partners and medical experts.

    • Advocate for employees while balancing company values.

    Corrective Action

    • Educate business leaders on corrective action processes.

    • Advise management on appropriate resolution of employee issues.

    • Support managers in the development and review of corrective action plans.

    • Consult with managers on driving a culture of high performance.

    Special Projects/Administration:

    • Complete special HR/ER projects within set timelines.

    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    • Maintain all case management requirements for reporting and compliance.

    Working Conditions

    • Ability to make impactful decisions.

    • 10% overnight travel may be required.

    • Fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.

    This role combines the responsibilities of an Employee Relations Manager and Senior HR Generalist, focusing on managing ER cases, facilitating discussions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

    Requirements

    Your Skills and Abilities

    • Bachelor's Degree in HR management or related field required; SHRM certification preferred.

    • 3-5 years' experience as an HR Generalist or Employee Relations Manager.

    • Demonstrated experience managing investigations and employee relations.

    • Good knowledge of HR processes in dynamic organizations.

    • Experience in a global/matrixed reporting environment preferred.

    • Bilingual/multi-lingual skills a plus.

    • Strong knowledge of employment laws.

    • Ability to utilize case management software and HRIS systems.

    • Ability to manage complex ER cases and investigations.

    • High customer focus and results-oriented.

    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

    • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.

    • Labor experience strongly preferred in unionized locations.
