Facilities Assistant

Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Facilities Lead position based in Milford, Ohio. The role involves handling a wide range of facilities management tasks and would be a long term contract role.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of facility management including security requirements, housekeeping, material movement, front office management, and inventory management.

• Ensure compliance with all information and security policies.

• Prepare for audits, specifically Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) audits, by enforcing company policies.

• Comply with all statutory requirements and building codes.

• Conduct Fire Safety & Health Safety Briefings and drills at regular intervals to ensure compliance with company policies.

• Ensure 100% availability of all Safety, Security Equipment, and other office systems/equipment.

• Monitor budget utilization and invoice payment process.

• Manage vendor agreements, ensuring valid agreements and Certificates of Insurance (COIs) are available for all vendors.

• Execute facilities inspections and manage any necessary follow-up actions.

Note: This role requires the individual to be onsite on all working days to ensure effective administration of the premises.

Requirements - Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting

• Demonstrated experience in Facilities Management including maintenance, security, and space planning

• Practical knowledge of Facility Inspections to ensure safety and operational standards

• Ability to coordinate with different teams for facility-related tasks

• Strong organizational skills to manage various tasks simultaneously

• Excellent problem-solving skills to address facility-related issues

• Good communication skills to interact with team members, vendors, and contractors

• Understanding of facility regulations and standards

• Ability to manage emergencies related to facilities effectively

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new facility management technologies and methods.
