Finance & Accounting Manager

Description My client is a Media company located in NYC, who's parent is one of the largest media conglomerates in the world.

The Director of Finance is adding a net new Finance Manager to their team, this is due to business growth. This is a high exposure role with visibility to the CFO office.

This is a great opportunity for a strong Senior Accountant/Analyst looking for their next step into a Management role.

This is NOT a Client Finance role. This team is a liaison and works with the Client Finance, Shared Services and Offshore Accounting teams.

This role is a core accounting role with true FP& A responsibilities.

As always, this is a permanent, full time, fully benefited salaried positions (this is NOT temp, or temp to perm).

The role will sit in their NYC office in midtown, they are in the office 3 days and 2 days remote.

Salary is between $100k - $130k base + discretionary bonus (based on experience).

The role will cover

? This is a blended role, more core accounting with budgeting, variance analysis

? This is not a Client Finance role, this team (Financial Reporting) works with the Client Finance, Shared Services and Offshore teams

? Currently this role will not manage anyone

? Need someone that does not need to be micromanaged, can take a task from start to competition

? Someone that presents well, great interpersonal skills

? The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting foundation within a media firm

? A minimum of a BA/BS in accounting from a top accredited school

? 5+ years of experience

? CPA is a +
