    Description

    Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation

    vehicles, snowmobiles, side-by-sides, all-terrain vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support

    equipment. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in

    environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting

    preserves.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop, forecast, control, and manage multiple department budgets within company guidelines.

    Assist in the maintenance and development of company operating forecasts and budgets

    provided as requested from the TSV Financial Planning and Analysis team.

    • Oversee Capital Asset Request analysis and tracking.

    • Support logistics, sales, and inventory planning processes and resolve any ERP system billing

    problems and concerns.

    • Managing finance vendor programs to support business financed sales in a manner which

    promotes timely funding of transactions and accurate accounting.

    • Interprets operating results as they affect the financial aspects of the company and makes specific

    recommendations which will result in cost reduction and profit improvement. Track and drive

    improvements in logistics costs and drive improvements for factory efficiencies.

    • Actively participate in the month-end closing process, which includes reviewing journal entries,

    assessing and correcting the underlying processes/methodology, and reviewing account

    reconciliations with specific focus on independent verifications.

    • Takes the lead in developing and improving processes, policies, and controls for a rapidly growing

    company.

    • Work cross-functionally with operations team to drive efficiencies in production operations and

    translate operational metrics into financial impacts, collaborating with leaders to develop the

    Long-range plan and Annual Operating Plan.

    • Foster talent development by supporting career path planning, management of performance

    objectives, engagement, training, and onboarding of new hires.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.

    • Years of Experience: 3 or more years of experience in finance

    • Software Knowledge: SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Access, Microsoft Office applications

    • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
