Finance Manager - General Partner Finance Group

Description Robert Half has an immediate opening for an eager and ambitious Accounting Manager at a growing, dynamic Financial Services company. In this position, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, including maintaining the general ledger system, preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. The ideal candidate should be able to establish and scale company accounting and finance operations. What you get to do every single day

• Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

• Play a key role in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, which includes system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration

• Team up with FP& A and accounting management to develop relevant, timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

• Prepare a variety of technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures

• Ensure close deadlines are met by encouraging and managing the accounting team performance during the closing process

• Provide regular review and analysis of balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant

• Contribute to the preparation of GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes Requirements - Demonstrated technology and analytical abilities

• Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

• CPA/MBA preferred

• Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity

• 7+ years of recent relevant financial experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

• Deep understanding of cash management

• Finance experience

• Budget allocations experience highly desired

• Proven knowledge of financial reconciliation

• Command of Business Partners

• Profit and loss experience preferred
