    Where the chemistry happens...

    As a direct report to the Vice President and a crucial member of the Global Leadership team, the Global Supply Chain Manager will play an integral role in shaping the company's future. This includes providing strategic guidance for demand planning, sales & operations planning, master production scheduling, material planning, and IS&OP process for the global refining catalysts business and manufacturing locations.

    As a Global Supply Chain Manager, You Create Chemistry By...

    • Leveraging your experience in developing and managing high performing teams, you will effectively lead the Global Supply Chain Team driving professional development, skills-based training, and the sharing of best practices, including supply chain planning, plant logistics via disciplinary and functional leadership.

    • Your keen management of rail fleet assets and product inventory levels will transcend customer service levels and optimize production efficiencies, logistics costs and working capital.

    • Your optimization of Supply Chain activities e.g., complexity reduction, transport and warehouse optimizations, strategic partnerships and customer collaborations and asset utilization by site will drive efficiencies, strengthen relationships and result in maximized margins and the reduction of idle costs.

    • Your knowledge and significant experience in demand planning, sales and operations planning, master production scheduling, material requirements planning, and inventory control theory & practice will assist you in effectively managing the Integrated Sales and Operating Planning Process.

    • Applying your productive experience in logistics/supply will contribute to your development of a forward thinking and formal Supply Chain Strategy based on the Refining Catalyst Business Strategy and your development of relevant Supply Chain Performance KPI's.

    • Overseeing global supply chain planning, excellence, and operations across various locations, while also managing customer service in the Americas region.

    Your formula for success...

    • A bachelor's degree or preferably a master's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field. Additional certifications such as APICS (Association for Supply Chain Management) or CSCMP (Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals) can be advantageous.

    • 10 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a global role. Professional experience in Procurement, Operations, Product Management or Marketing. This may involve managing end-to-end supply chain operations, including planning, sourcing, procurement, production, logistics, and distribution.

    • Experience in a manufacturing facility or warehouse environment - Strong knowledge of Supply Chain and Manufacturing concepts.

    • In-depth understanding of supply chain principles, best practices, and industry trends. Familiarity with supply chain software systems, data analytics, and process improvement methodologies (such as Lean Six Sigma) is beneficial.

    • Strong leadership capabilities to effectively manage and motivate cross-functional teams across different regions and cultures. The ability to lead and drive change, make strategic decisions, and solve complex supply chain challenges is crucial.

    • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers effectively. This includes the ability to negotiate, build relationships, and manage conflicts.

    • Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and risk management to identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction. Strong problem-solving abilities to address supply chain disruptions and implement corrective actions. As well as superior analytical skills, combined with thorough knowledge of current SCM concepts and SAP/ERP systems. Experience working with, or supporting, SAP based planning systems.

    • The capacity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and deadlines. Willingness to travel internationally, as required, to manage global operations and build relationships with stakeholders.

    • Understanding of ethical business practices and compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to supply chain management, including sustainability and social responsibility.
