  • Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an HR Director in Denver, Colorado. As an HR Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the HR activities of two different entities, one based in California and the other overseeing brokerages. You will also be in charge of a team that handles hiring and will be involved in various HR functions like reporting, annual reviews, employee relations, and DEI committee participation.

    Key responsibilities

    • Oversee the HR activities for two different entities

    • Manage the team responsible for hiring

    • Generate reports on turnover and other logistical items

    • Kickstart annual reviews

    • Participate actively in the DEI committee

    • Assist with employee write-ups, staff counseling, and mentoring team and other managers dealing with a difficult employee

    • Handle Employee Relations

    • Help advise and help craft roles as the organization grows

    • Assist with open enrollment

    • Show interest in knowing more about turnover and data

    • Reporting for higher management

    Skills

    • Proficient in Employee Relations and Labor Employee Relations

    • Experienced with HR reporting

    • Knowledgeable in using ADP Workforce Now Requirements - Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

    • Proven experience in a similar role, such as HR Manager or HR Director

    • Proficiency in HR reporting and an understanding of HR metrics

    • Extensive knowledge and experience in Employee Relations and Labor Employee Relations

    • Familiarity with HR software, preferably ADP Workforce Now

    • Exceptional leadership and team management skills

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities

    • Comprehensive understanding of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations

    • Ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals

    • Certified detail oriented in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior detail oriented in Human Resources (SPHR) certification is preferred

    • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
