    Summary:

    Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Talent Management the Director, HR Programs and Administration is responsible for managing the portfolio of Talent Management programs and administrative function. This role helps to design, build, and launch strategic HR programs that further advance Talent Management Team goals, initiatives and HR Strategic Priorities. Additionally, this role will help lead or support HR and organizational enterprise level programs and initiatives. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

    Required Job Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management or related field.

    • 10 + years of Human Resource, Business Management, Program Management, or related field.

    • 5+ years of people management and leadership experience.

    • Experience leading cross functional teams.

    • Ability to navigate a highly matrixed and complex business environment.

    • Experience with successful large and small scale program management execution.

    • Demonstrated ability to work successfully with autonomy.

    • Demonstrated ability to successfully influence and collaborate with all levels.

    • Previous experience successfully managing complex projects involving multiple. stakeholders with a consistent track record of delivering on-time, high quality results.

    • Excellent communication skills with proven expertise in successfully conveying information at all levels of the organization.

    • Experience in leading and managing organizational change management.

    • Proficiency in HR analytics and tools.

    • Ability to travel to other Rush locations as needed

    Preferred Job Qualifications:

    • Master's Degree.

    • Multiple industry experience preferred.

    • Prior Healthcare experience preferred.

    • Prior experience working in one or more HR "Centers of Excellence" internally or externally.

    • Project Management Skills and/or certification.

    Responsibilities:

    Leadership

    • Serves as a strategic adviser and thought partner to our AVP of Talent Management to understand business needs and proactively identify gaps and recommends solutions.

    • Leads the program portfolio for the Talent Management Department to include planned and unplanned programs and initiatives.

    • Sets the department programmatic strategy for the RUSH Fiscal Year using the Talent Management goals as well as HR Strategic priorities as the foundational guidepost.

    • Leads the program and administrative team members to successfully develop, manage and execute programs, initiatives, and administrative duties for the department.

    • Provides ongoing direction, guidance, coaching and development to the team.

    • Sets team goals and provides direction on programmatic and administrative prioritization.

    • Continuously monitors and evaluates team work product, projects, programs, and initiatives to help ensure on track.

    • Fosters a team environment that constantly collaborates, creates efficiencies, continuously analyzes, and champions continuous improvement initiatives.

    • Point of escalation and leadership support to team to help overcome roadblocks obstacles or barriers to success.

    • Exhibits deep knowledge of Healthcare and Human Resources expertise relative to policies, processes, and operations.

    • Proactively provides proactive and timely updates to the AVP of Talent Management and all other leadership stakeholders as needed.

    • Excels at learning new skills/concepts to improve program management and execution and can share and coach team members.

    • Demonstrates leadership, independent thought and decision-making autonomy.

    Communication & Change Management

    • Ability to organize, adapt and re-prioritize activities and projects to meet deadlines in an environment of rapid change and growth.

    • Applies innovative and creative approach to assignments and challenges.

    • Actively engages with stakeholders to develop appropriate communication channels; escalates appropriate strategic issues/risks when needed and handles less priority issues/risks without

    Reporting & Analytics

    • In conjunction with talent Management Leadership identifies and executes Talent Management reporting needs.

    • Ability to successfully to conduct complex data analysis and deliver key HR and business insights with a clear and concise method.

    • Develops and investigates hypothesis using a wide range of HR data to diagnose issues and opportunities to enhance or improve performance on a project, initiative or program.

    Collaboration & Partnerships

    • Promote, etc.)s and fosters collaboration between key stakeholders, team members to ensure objectives are met.

    • Successful and ongoing collaboration with HR Centers of Excellence (talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, and employee health, etc.)

    • Manages various workstreams with differing priorities and consistently analyzes ambiguous or difficult situations to bring stakeholders to an aligned solution.

    • Actively builds a network of stakeholder relationships to effectively provide resource recommendations and guidance.

    Administration

    • Delegates and oversees administrative related work to help ensure successful management and disposition in a professional, timely and effective manner.

    • Acts as a point of escalation and key decision maker for Talent Management Administrative related issues and questions.

    Project Management

    • Ability to independently lead, manage and direct large and small scale programs.

    • Able to proactively identify, analyze and implement strategic decisions/solutions, when ambiguous and/or challenging situations could impact overall success.

    • Remains effective even when information is unclear or limited guidance is available.

    • Ensure enterprise goals and objectives are met by tracking trends in progress and makes recommended changes based on metrics review, stakeholder, and team member feedback.
