    As a Human Resources Compliance Manager, you will ensure the Company's employment and labor policies and practices are up to date and operate effectively. You will oversee the Affirmative Action program and other HR compliance activities, as well as complete employee relations investigations on behalf of the HR department.

    In this role you will:

    • Oversee national affirmative action planning process for corporation and subsidiaries, including managing data validity, the compliance checklist, and policy interpretation.

    • Respond to equal employment certification inquiries or other requests for employment-related information and data.

    • Design, write, and implement employment and labor policies to comply with applicable laws and drive desired business results.

    • Update policies as federal and state regulations change.

    • Research employment policies and practices and update the Company's policies as appropriate.

    • Manage investigations arising from Ethics Hotline or employee reports.

    • Investigate and/or coordinate investigations to a successful and timely resolution on all issues on a Company-wide basis, which rise to the level of requiring Corporate intervention.

    • Document investigation findings in accordance with standard procedures.

    • Serve as liaison to Legal Department in employment mediation and litigation issues, and collaboration on such matters.

    • Work collaboratively with field HR to recognize and improve employment compliance, including such things as training development, process documentation, training oversight, and continuous improvement.

    • Develop and facilitate specialized leadership or employee training related to employment/labor policy updates or educational.

    • Assist in the creation and delivery of effective employee communications on compliance matters.

    • Track and provide standard responses to commonly asked employee relations and labor inquiries.

    • Assist in the management of the Company's labor contracts.

    What you bring to the table:

    • Minimum five years' experience: Employee relations and/or employment law

    • Four-year degree: HR or related field or equivalent experience

    • PHR or SPHR certification

    • Knowledge of federal and state employment regulations

    • Knowledge of affirmative action and federal contractor employment requirements

    • Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques and practices

    • Knowledge of National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and general labor relations

    • Organizational skills

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    • Presentation and facilitation skills

    • Critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills

    • Research skills

    • Ability to work across functional/departmental lines

    • Ability to be collaborative

    Work shift and hours:

    • Full-time, salaried, exempt.

    • Monday - Friday in-office

    • 8:00am - 5:00pm standard business hours

    • Predictable work schedule to plan your life around: no weekends or nights for most roles.

    • Paid time-off, including 3+ weeks of vacation, sick time, and volunteer time.

    • Some emergency travel, if needed

    Compensation Details:

    • The expected rate of pay for this position is starting at $90,000 - $110,000 annually depending on experience.

    • This position is also bonus eligible - based on specific and relevant business metrics.
