    As a Bilingual HR Coordinator, you will serve as a vital link between management and employees, ensuring effective communication and support. This role requires fluency in both English and Spanish to facilitate seamless communication and provide comprehensive HR assistance to a diverse workforce. You will be responsible for various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance, while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Recruitment and Staffing

    • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.

    • Conduct initial interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications and fit for open positions.

    • Collaborate with hiring managers to coordinate job offers and facilitate the onboarding process for new employees.

    Onboarding and Orientation

    • Coordinate new hire orientation sessions, ensuring all necessary paperwork and training materials are provided.

    • Guide new employees through the onboarding process, including completing required forms and familiarizing them with company policies and procedures.

    • Serve as a point of contact for new hires to address questions and provide support during their transition period.

    Employee Relations

    • Act as a trusted resource for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, policies, and procedures.

    • Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and confidential manner, escalating issues to management when necessary.

    • Facilitate communication between management and employees to promote a positive work environment and resolve conflicts effectively.

    Compliance and Documentation

    • Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, benefits enrollment, and performance evaluations.

    • Assist in the implementation of HR initiatives, such as performance management, employee engagement surveys, and diversity and inclusion programs.

    Benefits Administration

    • Support employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries, serving as a liaison between employees and benefits providers.

    • Coordinate open enrollment activities and communicate benefit options and changes to employees effectively.

    • Assist in resolving benefits-related issues and discrepancies, working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders as needed.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

    • 2+ years of experience in HR coordination or related roles, preferably in the light industrial or manufacturing sector.

    • Fluency in both English and Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.

    • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, particularly related to recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations.

    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.

    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS software.

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

    • Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and awareness in working with diverse employee populations.

    • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
