    Responsibilities:

    • Manage distribution of apparel, accessories, and footwear within Asia-Pacific.

    • Oversee development and execution of brand strategic expansion within assigned regions and new markets. Develop and execute business plans at country/regional level.

    • Collaborate with Distributors to provide business financial planning, assortment planning, and seasonal execution of sales, product assortment, and marketing plans.

    • Analyze sales statistics to determine sales potential and inventory requirements, and monitor customer preference.

    • Define seasonal Go-To-Market (GTM) plans to support primary marketing initiatives.

    • Oversee distribution, regional sales, and margin forecasting through seasonal, yearly, and Long Range Planning (LRP).

    • Ensure departmental initiatives and strategies are met through management of seasonal planning, GTM and Sales meetings.

    • Drive sales growth and distributor relationships for assigned regions and countries.

    • Manage operational prescribed budget, pricing negotiations and adjustments, and marketing funding allocation; approve limited product licensing and manufacturing, outline priorities, establishment of seasonal sales growth targets by brand and category, identify new market opportunities, and develop sales and marketing strategies to drive increased sales and consumer sell-through.

    • Evaluate regional market needs; create and implement strategies to ensure a successful outcome; implement in-store programs; and recommend product assortments.

    • Manage activities with outside departments to ensure Asia-Pacific Distributor needs are met and departments are aware of strategic priorities.

    • Advise senior business management and employees on departmental growth and Company direction.

    • At least 30% international travel required.

    Education/Experience Requirements:

    Education: Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Business Management, or closely related field (foreign equivalent accepted).

    And

    Experience: 5 years' experience as a Business Development Manager, Account Manager, Sales Manager, Global Retail Manager, or similar position.

    OR

    Experience: 7 years' experience as a Business Development Manager, Account Manager, Sales Manager, Global Retail Manager, or similar position.

    Skills Requirements:

    5 years' experience in each of the following:

    1) working with Asia Pacific wholesalers and distributors in a sales leadership position;

    2) managing distributors outside the U.S. (from within the U.S. or otherwise);

    3) managing budgets and sales forecasting for international distributors;

    4) applying global GTM principles, practices, and procedures to reach market penetration, revenue and profitability targets;

    5) negotiating pricing to ensure sales and marketing targets are achieved;

    6) working in retail financial planning and product merchandising; and

    3 years' experience in the following:

    7) leading wholesale, sales and distribution, product development (apparel, accessories, and footwear), merchandising, and distribution at a global level.

    All experience, skills, and requirements may be gained concurrently. Employer will conduct background check prior to hire.
