International Distributor Sales Manager-Latin America

This position is responsible for managing the Distributors for the Columbia brands within assigned countries /geographic regions focusing on apparel, accessories and footwear. This role is responsible for the development and execution of strategic expansion and penetration of Columbia brands within the assigned regions. This includes managing partner relationships, working with existing Distributors and identifying and expanding into new markets. It includes developing and executing business plans at a country and regional level, working with Distributors on business financial planning, assortment planning, and seasonal execution of sales, product assortment and marketing plans. Building seasonal GTM plans that support primary marketing initiatives. Incumbent uses knowledge of country business practices, cultural norms and local language to facilitate smooth operation between CSC and Distributor.
-Manages distributor/regional sales and margin forecasting through LRP, Corporate Forecasting and Seasonal Bookings Management.
-Ensures overall departmental initiatives and strategies are being accomplished through seasonal planning, GTM meetings, Sales Meetings, system and support need, etc.
-Drive sales growth and distributor relationships for assigned regions and countries. This includes:
Ownership and management of operational prescribed budget
Pricing negotiations and adjustments
Allocation of marketing funding
Approval of limited product licensing and manufacturing
Outlining priorities, establishing season sales growth targets by brand and category
Identifying new market opportunities
Developing sales and marketing strategies to drive increased sales and consumer sell-through through.
-Evaluate regional market needs, create and implement strategies to ensure success. Implement in-store programs, recommend product assortments and collaborate on all marketing efforts to ensure that the Company's image, market visibility and brands are consistently presented.
-Ensures coordination of activities with outside departments to ensure the LAAP Distributor business needs are met and that departments are aware of strategic priorities. These functions include Marketing, Legal, Manufacturing, Human Resources, Credit, Finance and Accounting, among others.
-Appropriately informs and advises seniors and peers on departmental growth and direction.
-Bachelor's Degree required; combination of relevant job experience and education may substitute in lieu of a degree.
-Minimum 4 years of experience in Sales Management, Wholesale Sales, International Sales, Product Merchandising and Sales Forecasting required.
-Proven and established successful experience in Wholesale leadership
