IT Director

Description

We are offering an opportunity to join our team remotely! As an IT Director in the Retail industry focused on EDI and ERP systems. The chosen candidate will be responsible for overseeing technical aspects of our operations, including the management of our OpenText Ecosystem and the integration of our EDI systems. This position will also require a deep understanding of ERP/Supply Chain systems and processes, and the ability to manage a team of senior process managers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage our OpenText Ecosystem, ensuring seamless operation and integration

• Lead a team of 3 senior process managers, fostering open and effective communication

• Handle the technical acumen of our systems, ensuring smooth operation and cost savings

• Implement Oracle Cloud (Financials) visibility / future state in the next 2-3 years

• Develop an understanding of Value added networks (VANS) visionary transformation, roadmapping, and overcoming blockers

• Understand and manage how integrations work, including the use of API's

• Demonstrate excellent project management skills, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines

• Maintain a strong understanding of EDI standards, protocols, and file formats (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, etc.)

Requirements - Minimum of 7 years of experience in the retail industry, preferably in a leadership role within the IT department

• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies and Cloud Technologies

• Strong knowledge and experience in managing databases

• Experience with EO/IR systems will be advantageous

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Proven experience with AB Testing and Backup Technologies

• Solid understanding of computer hardware and ability to manage contracts

• Experience with Deployments, OpenText, and EDI - Electronic Data Interchange is highly desirable

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor a team

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Relevant certifications or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
