    Job Description

    • Manages the IT function within assigned AOR. Leads multiple IT initiatives and projects, ranging from moderate to advanced complexity. Analyzes hardware, network, and applications performance at assigned sites; identifies and implements necessary upgrades or repairs as needed to improve functionality, usability, performance, and/or reliability.

    • Partners with Operations staff and users to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve IT issues as needed.

    • Manages and coordinates IT staff and resources to complete projects and resolve systems issues.

    • Works with satellite communications providers for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting VSAT systems as needed.

    • Maintains productive working relationships with senior management, operations management, user population, and Client/USG personnel; communicates key issues to senior IT personnel and requests assistance or additional resources as appropriate.

    • Liaison with Client/USG personnel for Base approvals of communications requests, and support Client/USG communications provided by Fluor.

    • Provides recommendations to senior personnel as appropriate.

    • Performs user deskside support, technical assistance or other routine IT functional support activities as necessary.

    Supervision Exercised

    • As directed by management, may supervise employees or subcontractor personnel in accordance with the "General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities" addendum.
