    The IT Product Manager is responsible for managing Patterson's productivity & collaboration products utilized by our employees & contractors throughout the product lifecycle. This role works together with stakeholders and IT teams to maximize the value of collaboration and productivity tools at Patterson to focus on delivering a great employee experience.

    The position will require a deep understanding of the customer journey, pain points and needs to develop a strategic roadmap and product vision for the Patterson Digital Workplace. This role supports the infrastructure team and serves as IT's point of contact for internal questions relating to the digital workplace products and is responsible for managing the product releases.

    Essential Functions

    • Conduct customer and market research to inform product strategy, including monitoring and understanding vision and technology trends related to digital workplace products for the Patterson employee workforce.

    • Leads or participates in customer research and focus groups.

    • Manage product planning, aligning long-term roadmaps and short-term release plans, and prioritization of the product backlog to keep product teams unblocked and aligned.

    • Use broad knowledge of technology and consult with key players to define and enhance products, develop prototypes and roadmaps for ongoing and new product developments supporting business plans, strategies, and opportunities.

    • Serves as the primary point of contact for the product requirements, implementation, delivery and support.

    • Participates in the beta process by serving as the liaison between the customer, development, QA and support.

    • Use data to identify trends and insights, inform decisions and product team priorities, curate strategies and obtain agreement from stakeholders.

    • Partner with stakeholders to build and measure key performance indicators (KPI) for each product and feature to help inform vision and priority feature focus.

    • Monitors regulatory landscape to document and communicate impact on current and future products.

    • These products include but aren't limited to Microsoft O365, Telephony, AV and other collaboration tools.

    Additional functions

    In addition to the essential functions listed below, the incumbent may perform the following additional functions.

    • Defines and delivers change communication plans to Patterson employees.

    • Oversees continuous improvement and the knowledge management of the tool and resources for our end users. (Learning Library -dedicated space with comms around releases, etc)

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in information technology, organizational behavior, human resources or related field experience 5-8 years of industry

    • Experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, and/or products.

    • 4+ years' experience in product management, IT communications, training or equivalent

    • Experience with Office365 tools.

    • Ability to work effectively within a matrixed team structure and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced changing environment -- multi-tasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.

    • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.

    • Strong organizational, attention to detail and task follow-up skills. Adept at handling multiple assignments in a timely manner and meeting assigned deadlines.

    • Experience with Continuous Improvement initiatives

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 4+ years of technical knowledge: multi-tier distributed architecture, enterprise software, enterprise software infrastructure, and related technologies

    • Strong analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.

    • Advanced experience with infrastructure concepts, tools and processes.

    • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.

    • Highly self-motivated and directed.

    • Strong customer service orientation

    • Experience with large-scale organizational change

    • Experience creating and executing against analytics, artificial intelligence, and interoperability strategy and best practices.

    The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount could exceed this range, based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market), experience, and skills.The potential compensation range for this role is below.
