The Irrigation Manager will oversee the Water Managers within the commercial landscape portfolio and associated repair teams. The Irrigation Manager will be responsible for training and developing these individuals and providing day-to-day operational scheduling and guidance.

Key Accountabilities:

·         Setting up an efficient work schedule each day for the department.

·         Verifying clock in and out times each day for the job tickets.

·         Closing out the work orders for billing by adding materials and approving.

·         Manage the Weathermatic Platform and associated items costs.

·         Managing all irrigation services, including the coordination of all materials, people, equipment, and subcontractors required to produce quality work

·         Perform and/or participate in all new property audits.

·         Building Water Management contracts and assisting the AM’s, and BDR’s in selling water management services.

·         As necessary, performing hands-on work with crews to meet work and scheduling demands.

·         Ensuring proper paperwork is completed for all employee changes and new hires

·         Communicating with, counsel, training, discipline, review, and develop growth plan for employees

·         Hands-on training and support of crew members, including proper operation of equipment, pruning techniques, safety, and quality standards

·         Focusing on safety and monitor safety records

·         Maintaining and managing all required administrative systems, including but not limited to time sheets, job databases, and service schedules

·         Ordering materials as needed and monitoring costs and deliveries

·         Assisting the Branch Manager in the performance of irrigation sales tasks as required

You are a good fit if you have:

·         Minimum 5 years of commercial irrigation installation and maintenance experience

·         Minimum of 3 years of prior management and leadership experience within a landscaping company, or local marketplace, including at least 1-year supervisory experience.

·         Vaid Oregon Driver’s License

·         Must have or be able to pass the backflow testing exam.

·         Effective oral and written communication skills

·         Flexibility and willingness to adapt in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment

Preferred Skills & Experience

·         Bilingual in English and Spanish
