    Job Description

    HII - Mission Technologies Corp. is looking for a qualified Journeyman Security Manager to support the F-22 Program Office located at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio to provide a wide range of security management, analytical, technical and support services for programs managed by DoD, USAF, AFMC, AFLCMC, AFLCMC/WW Directorate, AFLCMC/WWU Division and specific programs.

    Essential Job Responsibilities

    • Process PARs for individuals requiring access to the F-22 and associated projects

    • Assist in ensuring physical security standards are maintained and force protection conditions are met.

    • Support the semiannual security inspection program to include oversight of the F-22 Security self-inspection program.

    • Correcting deficiencies identified during inspections.

    • Interface with various government and contractor security offices to ensure that F-22 security program accesses are properly processed.

    • Provide technical recommendations on the adequacy of the F-22 program prime contractors program access submissions.

    • Provide personnel security support and guidance concerning processing of investigative paperwork. As needed, may travel to on-site and off-site meetings.

    • Document and validate background information for government and contractor team members accessed to all facets of the F-22 Program to include reportable information.

    • Provide personnel security guidance and direction to F-22 contractors and multiple government agencies to include OSD, SAF, and ACC regarding program access.

    • Provide personnel security assistance and guidance to technical and functional managers, clerical staff and other program personnel, to include assistance in the badging process.

    • Prepare various reports required to manage the personnel security and program access functions ensuring security clearances are current within five years tracking against the Unit Manning Document.

    • Manage the requirements for Letters of Compelling Need and Waivers.

    • Track Central Adjudication Office action items, program accesses, limitations, expirations, suspensions, personnel/program change in status

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.

    • Five years of recent experience performing security work within the DoD program office.

    • Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility is required.

    Preferred Requirements

    • Support the implementation of Information, Personnel and Industrial Security programs to ensure classified material.

    • Level 1 certified in the Defense Security Service (DSS), Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Program.
