Commercial Specialty Tire is looking to hire a new Key Account Manager for the Western US, ideally living near a major airport and in Denver, Colorado or Salt Lake City, Utah or Los Angeles, California. The KAM will be responsible for: Create, implement and manage profitable growth within key accounts. Communicate key account strategies through regional channel personnel and cross functional areas. Coach territory sales representatives to interface with key accounts in their territories and ensure the key account strategies are adhered to and supported in the field.
Â· Select target key accounts, increasing Continentals share of target key accounts business and then managing each key account individually as a mini business to ensure profitable growth, by growing sales volume, improving price positioning, improving product mix, and managing both fixed and variable expenses.
Â· Ensure that key account strategies and objectives are supported at territory levels by both Continental personnel and selected service dealers.
Â· Manage contract processes in close coordination with legal department to ensure all compliance issues are properly maintained in regards to government and private regulations.
Â· Act as a liaison between all business units (PLT, CVT, CST) in order to present a single point of contact to tactical vehicle manufacturers, Government agencies, and other distribution in that community.
Â· Individually act as business advisor with your allocated key accounts to add value to their organization, through a win/win relationship, ultimately increasing the revenue and profitability of the CTNA organization.
Â· Individually manage agreed operational KPI's e.g. expenses, FC, stock levels, fill rates, tire performance tracking etc, for each of your key accounts to support the CTNA strategies.
Â· Interact on a regular basis with the OE KAM to deliver one singular message to the customer (OE, OE Aftermarket).
Â· Collectively Management by obtaining competitive information to support the development of strategic initiatives as well as event planning, promotions etc.
Â· Collectively act as strategic sales representatives for the field sales organization with respect to the PPT process, 5 year planning process, etc.
Â· Collectively manage the key accounts pricing strategy and individually implement this strategy to your individual key accounts.

â€¢ High School Diploma and 6+ years of relevant professional experience OR Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant professional experience
â€¢ Extensive travel within assigned territory is required.
â€¢ Ability to lift up to 70lbs is required.
