    Position Overview:

    Serves as a consultant and thought leader to senior and executive leaders on the design and implementation of talent development tools, programs and processes, such as workforce planning, performance management, or learning and development. Supports strategic planning and execution of services and solutions to build/strengthen individual and organizational capabilities. Plans and develops eLearning and blended learning solutions to meet target audience needs. Collaborates with colleagues and external consultants to ensure quality, cost-effective services and solutions that align with key business strategies and goals.

    New Leader Orientation - Consultant will be responsible for the program design and implementation for Sutter Health's New Leader Orientation leadership development program.

    New Manager Foundations - Consultant will take a formative role in the design and development of the New Manager Foundations program designed to teach the tactical aspects of management to new people leaders.

    New Employee Orientation - Consultant will be responsible for the program design and implementation of the Culture and Values module of New Employee Orientation. Consultant will also serve as Sutter Health University's primary representative and a leading member of the First Year Experience project.

    New Executive Orientation - Consultant will assist and make recommendations in a secondary role with the design and development of New Executive Orientation.

    Job Description :

    The candidate hired for this role must come on site as needed for meetings, etc. and be based in the Northern California Sutter Health footprint.

    EDUCATION:

    Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

    Bachelor's: Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing or clinical specialty/discipline or related field

    TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

    8 years recent relevant experience

    SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

    Knowledge of training and development program assessment, design, delivery, and evaluation.

    Must have extensive knowledge in evaluating differences in learning styles within and audience and tailor delivery solutions accordingly.

    Must have extensive familiarity with learning content development including authoring tools, multi-media development tools, learning management systems, and virtual classrooms.

    Ability to develop impactful eLearning, blended learning and web-based training with a familiarity of learning technologies/solutions.

    Ability to create employee development strategies and measure effectiveness.

    Ability to translate business strategies, priorities and plans into talent planning, management and development.

    Ability to lead curriculum, training, and other development programs.

    Knowledge of organization development methodologies.

    Ability to communicate through verbal and written means, with tact and diplomacy, and to present information to a variety of audiences.

    Analytical and conceptual skills with a keen attention to details.

    Ability to influence others by persuasion, negotiation, and problem solving.

    Must have the skills to effectively lead change and transition.

    Collaboration skills to facilitate open sharing of information and cooperation with various stakeholders

    Ability to establish trust and credibility, and to interact and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the performance of role's duties while respecting cultural and linguistic differences and fostering an inclusive work environment.

    Organization skills to effectively manage and/or re-prioritize activities and projects to meet deadlines while maintaining a high degree of responsiveness.

    Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with changing business priorities.

    Ability to maintain and work discreetly with confidential information.

    Ability to use essential applications and/or databases associated with the role's duties and responsibilities.

    Pay Range is $57.22 to $85.83 / hour

    The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
