    Job Duties

    MAJOR GIFT FUNDRAISING/ PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT:

    Manages a portfolio of 125-175 donors with the capacity to make five, six, and seven figure gifts. Revenue goals will be commensurate with portfolio and increase upon portfolio maturity.

    Identifies community members in collaboration with advancement services, physicians, clinical staff, volunteers and other key leaders to build a portfolio of donors and prospects with the purpose of qualifying capacity, building rapport, and identifying philanthropic passions and interests.

    Achieves activity metrics that serve as a roadmap to the revenue goal i.e. face to face meetings, solicitations, qualifications, physician engagement/grateful patient referrals.

    DONOR ENGAGEMENT

    Collaborate with appropriate parties to engage portfolio donors in a personally meaningful way-serving as the liaison to maximize opportunities and insure a seamless donor experience.

    Demonstrate for donors the impact of their philanthropy in partnership with donor relations.

    Works in collaboration with the event specialist to ensure cultivation events are executed. Proactively leverages opportunities to deepen relationships and secure follow up meetings by attending appropriate cultivation/local community events.

    Work in collaboration with the Director, Annual Fund as appropriate on annual fund programs such as North Texas Giving Day, employee campaigns, birthday buddies for their assigned region.

    DATA MANAGEMENT

    Prepares appropriate reports and follow-up correspondence for meetings and contact with major gift donors and prospects.

    Maintains timely records of all cultivation strategies, evaluations, solicitations and results of contacts with donors and prospects within the Foundation database.

    Education

    Bachelor's Degree required

    Experience

    5 years Major Gift fundraising experience; preferably in a healthcare environment required

    Skills

    Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications; excellent written and verbal skills; ability to work independently; ability to articulate an organizational mission and impact of philanthropy in advancing that mission; demonstrated experience in working with high net-worth individuals.
