    Position Overview:

    As the Manager, Capacity Planning and Network Modeling , youre a key member of the Global Supply Chain Planning & Execution Team, reporting to the Sr. Director, Global Supply Chain and Logistics. You will contribute to the success of Ball by optimizing logistics network efficiency and effectiveness through capacity planning and network modeling. Analyze infrastructure, forecast demand, and design agile, cost-effective networks to accommodate growth while maximizing service levels.

    Your Key Areas of Responsibilities Include:

    • Conduct detailed analysis of current logistics capacity, including warehouse space, transportation routes, and distribution centers, to identify areas for optimization.

    • Utilize advanced modeling techniques and simulation tools to forecast future demand and assess the impact on logistics capacity and resources.

    • Design and optimize logistics networks, considering factors such as transportation costs, lead times, inventory levels, and service requirements.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including commercial, operations, and finance, to align capacity planning efforts with business goals and objectives.

    • Develop and maintain capacity planning models and tools to facilitate scenario analysis and decision-making.

    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics capacity and network performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

    • Lead projects to implement capacity expansion initiatives, such as warehouse expansions, transportation fleet upgrades, or network reconfigurations.

    • Conduct regular reviews and audits of logistics capacity and network performance to ensure alignment with business needs and objectives.

    • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in logistics capacity planning and network modeling.

    • Provide guidance and support to logistics team members on capacity planning processes, tools, and methodologies.

    Required Experience and Skills:

    • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management or Statistics or equivalent broad training and experience.

    • Logistics Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics operations, with a solid understanding of transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes to inform network optimization strategies.

    • Experience designing and optimizing logistics networks, considering various factors such as costs, lead times, and service requirements.

    • Capacity Planning:

    • Minimum of 5 years experience in capacity planning within logistics, including forecasting demand and optimizing resources to accommodate growth efficiently.

    • Experience conducting detailed analysis of logistics capacity and network performance, interpreting data to identify optimization opportunities.

    • Advanced modeling techniques and simulation tools to forecast future demand and evaluate logistics capacity.

    • Network Modeling:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience doing network modeling, utilizing tools and techniques to design agile and cost-effective logistics networks.

    • Team Collaboration and Interpersonal Skills:

    • Experience collaborating effectively with teams across departments to align capacity planning efforts with business goals and objectives.

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • Hybrid Work Environment: Based in Colorado, this position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site for three (3) or more days per work week (with core collaboration days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). Travel (up to 25% the first year and up to 10% thereafter)and local commute between Ball locations and other possible non-Ball locations will berequired.

    • Relocation may be available for this position.

    • Hiring Salary Range: $93,100 $142,140USD*. Salary to be determined by the applicants education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

    • This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
