    This position will follow our hybrid work model; we expect candidates to work two days in-office and three days from home at either of our St. Petersburg, FL, Southfield, MI, Memphis, TN, or Denver, CO, office locations.

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a leader who understands that people are the most important asset in any company. The right person for this job should be comfortable using innovation to enhance value to their customers. This position will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of Digital Workplace services and support, including implementing and maintaining policies, procedures, and standards related to platform engineering and developing a strategic vision for the team. This role will work closely with the Digital Workplace management team to ensure technology changes are properly transitioned, maintained, and supported in the Digital Workplace production environment. May be accountable for projects directly impacting technology infrastructure across Raymond James. The person selected for the position must have strong leadership and technical skills and be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Manages group consisting of small to medium workforce (5-15 or more)

    • Accountable for significant technology process(s) involving work of a complex nature.

    • Responsible for ensuring deliverables are delivered on time and within budget.

    • Leads the Digital Workplace effort in building a modern enterprise end-user computing environment.

    • Manages, directs, and supports direct reports with a focus on team leadership, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

    • Provides performance-related coaching and feedback to direct reports. Formally reviews and evaluates the performance and work of team members; prepares performance evaluations and recommends compensation adjustments.

    • Contributes to the annual operating and capital expenditure budget planning process.

    • Contributes to and develops IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

    • Forges business partnerships, in person and remotely when working from home, that help drive the Digital Workplace Strategy forward, taking a customer service approach with internal and external customers.

    • Maintains a thorough understanding of the use of the Firm's information technology and policies and their application in a legal environment, as well as has a security-first approach to analysis, design, and implementation.

    • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Experience and Skills:

    • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related degree and seven (7) years of relevant experience, including management or leadership experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

    • Financial Services experience is highly preferred.

    • Must have a strong understanding of different business units within the financial sector.

    • May be a subject matter expert in specific or multiple technical or functional areas: End User Computing, Endpoint Management, Project Management, Operating Systems, or related infrastructure technology.

    • May occasionally work a non-standard schedule, including nights and/or weekends, and/or have on-call responsibilities.

    • Lean or Six Sigma experience preferred.
