    JOB SUMMARY

    The Department of Global Technology Procurement & Asset Management is a sub-group of the Global Technology Procurement "GTP" organization. The mission of this Department is to proactively source, procure, and manage hardware and software assets utilized at Marriott International headquarters and by the properties, including workforce tools, to reduce costs, eliminate waste, reduce delivery times, and extract the most value out of existing assets.

    This role will provide asset management support, with a focus on hardware, to the Global Technology Procurement & Asset Management team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and analyzing large volumes of enterprise level data, including data from conversions, acquisitions, and integrations with a high level of reliability.

    EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS

    • Proactively monitors, enforces, and updates the asset management standards, with a focus on hardware, to meet business requirements and evolving needs.

    • Maintains asset information in the asset management tool, including product models, discovery models, product contracts and entitlements defined within the scope of their area.

    • Tracks, monitors, tests, updates, and analyzes asset data for utilization, deployment, and reconciliation to drive compliance and cost savings.

    • Supports analytical activities related to technology sourcing and renewals, including developing moderately complex financial models to help leadership make informed business decisions.

    • Responsible for developing and distributing regular reports in Excel and PowerPoint to Global Technology Procurement leadership.

    • Leverages data to identify opportunities to reduce costs, reduce risks, and/or improve operational efficiencies.

    • Applies data management best practices to cleanse, process, document, validate and report asset management data.

    • Identifies data inaccuracies and proactively informs Global Technology Procurement team.

    • Assists with reports and presentation development for executive audiences.

    • Assists with project management and implementation.

    • Enables self-service for employees procuring workforce technology assets through Marriott's established procurement process.

    • Provides technology consulting for all internal stakeholders so that they can make tactical and strategic management decisions when purchasing hardware.

    • Performs other analyses as required.

    MARRIOTT CONFIDENTIAL AND PROPRIETARY INFORMATION

    Hardware Asset Management Data Analytics Specific processes:

    • Supports data analytics and maintenance required to sustain and mature Marriott's asset management tool.

    • Utilizes the Data Normalization dashboard to identify hardware models that require normalization.

    • Validates hardware models are coming into ServiceNow via the discovery tools and HAMPro. Compare what is in the tools to what is in ServiceNow.

    • Creates knowledge articles and update existing articles and FAQs for normalization, End of Life ("EOL") data retrieval and maintenance.

    • Creates dashboards to track and monitor hardware models, including certifications and EOL data.

    • Establishes HAM Lifecycle process based on industry best practices.

    • Responds to inquiries on hardware model management, normalization, EOL, HAMPro content library data.

    CANDIDATE PROFILE

    • Minimum of 4 years relevant work experience including complex data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling or equivalent work experience.

    • Previous Service Now Hardware Asset Management experience required.

    • Knowledge of Bigfix, Maark & WorkspaceOne or other discovery tools.

    • Experience with querying, normalizing, and analyzing data.

    • Advanced excel spreadsheet skills, and strong document and presentation software skills.

    • Experience with analytical programming (e.g., as SAS, SQL)

    • Ability to analyze and manage detailed hardware and software asset management information and present analytical results in dashboards and reports.

    • Capable of extracting, interpreting, and manipulating database table structures.

    • Familiarity with object-oriented databases, data table structures, and table relationships.

    • Ability to manage multiple assignments, and work both independently and as part of a team.?

    • Ability to concurrently navigate multiple tools sets and systems.

    • Attention to detail and the ability to ensure data quality and integrity.

    • Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers.

    EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION

    • Bachelor's Degree required (IT, Computer Science, Business, or similar discipline)

    • IT Asset Management and/or Strategic Sourcing (a plus)
