    Job Description

    The Manager for the HCP Consulting Management Team is responsible for managing the end-to-end process for the department to ensure compliant contracting documentation and payment transactions. This role will oversee the daily work of the team, interact with management and stakeholders, as well as manage relationships with HCP Consultants. The Manager will serve as subject matter expert for all contracting and payment processes and procedures, train internal and external stakeholders, and proactively educate the HCP Consultants on applicable policies and procedures.

    Job Duties

    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the HCP Consulting Management Team to ensure contracts are compliant with all Olympus policies and procedures and payment transactions are compliant and properly documented.

    • Manage end-to-end processes for the HCP Consulting Management Team, which may include identifying areas for process improvement, implementing and training on new or revised processes, and documenting current processes.

    • Manage and maintain the existing HCP Engagement Management Software by troubleshooting, testing, and approving service requests and system fixes to ensure tool is functional and productive for all system users.

    • Manage the team by reviewing, facilitating, and tracking contract and payment requests for all Consulting activities. Monitor output through quality control process to ensure accurate contracts and payments are delivered to the HCP Consultants with consideration to all designated control points.

    • Maintain internal communication with stakeholders from Compliance, Legal, Finance, Accounts Payable, Transparency Reporting Group, and Corporate Purchasing for relevant topics including contracting process concerns, vendor set up, transaction issues, payment chargebacks, and transparency reporting.

    • Manage and lead a team of eight direct reports. Onboard new HCP Consulting Management employees and train on all systems, processes, and procedures.

    • Write and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions, and Work Process Aides.

    • Create and maintain reports and dashboards for various process outcomes and deviations.

    • Other related job duties as assigned.

    Job Qualifications

    Required:

    • Associate Degree in business administration, or related field

    • Minimum of 2-3 years of people management experience.

    • Experience working in an HCP Consulting Management team or similar contracting department.

    • Experience with contracting and payment transactions.

    • Evidence of process management and/or process improvement.

    • Knowledge and ability to navigate and apply corporate compliance policies to all interactions.

    • Comfortable liaising with Legal and Compliance departments to educate and communicate applicable process and procedure issues and potential improvements.

    • Domestic travel, including evening travel may be needed in rare or exceptional instances only.

    Preferred:

    • BA/BS Degree in business administration, or related field

    • Experience working in a medical device/pharmaceutical company.

    • Experience working directly with HCPs is preferred.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

    • Strong software skills (Word, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint)

    • Ability to present data in a clear concise manner to a variety of audiences.

    • Ability to tactfully interface with all levels of employees in the organization.

    • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines while maintaining the highest attention to detail.

    • Must possess problem solving skills and analytical thinking skills.

    • Must possess exceptional organizational skills.
