    The National Accounts Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining buying groups, national and/or major accounts within Redistribution, increasing business among existing clients and promoting the organization to new clients in order to meet strategic business objectives. The successful candidate will also handle day-to-day maintenance of national account and/or buying group issues and business.

    • Present strategic plans to grow national Redistribution opportunities within Retail Industry segments to help meet the companies' revenue goals

    • Work with VP of National Account, (Retail) to develop and enhance customer loyalty and to strengthen relationships within national redistribution accounts and buying groups

    • Negotiate contracts for both National Redistribution opportunities and Buying Groups or renegotiates existing ones to maximize value for both parties

    • Regularly conducts customer maintenance to improve over all relationships with customers

    • Manage profitability and growth of customer accounts

    • Responsible for planning and forecasting business needs

    • Continually gathers, analyzes and presents competitive information to senior management

    • Work closely with R3 branches to ensure consistency and compliance in National Programs within Redistribution

    • Participate and support National account and Buying Group conferences for Redistribution


    • High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred

    • Five or more years successful sales and sales management experience

    • Strong work ethic and commitment to grow business profitability

    • Previous Sales Management or General Management experience

    • Previous experience within Redistribution preferred

    • Demonstrated ability to develop a sales plan and execute it

    • Effective written, verbal and presentation communication skills

    • Demonstrated ability to build confidence and support of key customers

    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team concept

    • Understanding of financial modeling and cost accounting

    • Strong planning and project management skills

    • Demonstrated effective decision making skills

    • Ability to travel up to 25%

    Salary range: $75K - $125K based on experience, education level and geographic area.
