Manager of Supply Chain Planning & Finance

GENERAL PURPOSE

Designs, develops and enhances current financial management systems. Maintains responsibility for assigned areas of hospital financial management such as internal financial reporting, classification of accounts and funds, plant ledgers and third-party reimbursement systems.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :

Under general direction and with latitude for the exercise of independent judgment

• Designs and develops detail specifications for financial management system to assure timely and accurate generation of reports to guide senior management. Enhances and maintains hospital accounting and application of reimbursement, principals and procedures.

• Reviews, analyzes and develops control systems for specific funds and reimbursement rate applications.

• Develops and maintains detailed analysis of various statistical and financial information to be used for financial reporting and reimbursement.

• Performs analysis and tests to ascertain integrity of accounting data, account balances and timeliness of reporting. Makes day-to-day interpretations and decisions on the accounting treatment of financial transactions.

• Maintains contact with University service departments such as Computing Facility and Production Control and Accounting to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Contacts Account Managers to discuss fluctuations and variances in monthly detail activity.

• As assigned, assumes responsibility for special projects involving financial planning and recommending changes. Assumes responsibility for the project, establishes time tables, activity plans and conducts the efforts of any subordinate staff.

REQUIREMENTS :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 3-5 years of relevant experience in a health care and/or University setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $ 68,400 - $102,600 Annually

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
