    The Role

    Proofpoint is looking for a Manager, Real Estate & Workplace Services to join our global facilities team! As the Manager for Proofpoint's Headquarters in Sunnyvale, you will manage the Sunnyvale REWS team, organize, coordinate, and budget office operations and manage procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and safety. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with customer service focus and knowledgeable in managing building systems. They must have experience managing construction & alterations, and able to work independently with cross-functional teams. This person must be well organized, flexible, and enjoy the challenges of managing and supporting a high visibility office. This position is full-time, on site, and reports to the Director of Real Estate and Workplace Services.

    Your day-to-day

    • Direct Reports include Reception staff, Facilities Technicians, Coordinators, and Assistants, and responsibility of contractors.

    • Inform REWS policy and develop and refine appropriate procedures

    • Management of Service Request intake and work order management, delegation of work, and tracking of completion.

    • Review and approve estimates, purchase orders, and invoices

    • Work with Procurement & Finance teams for contracting for facilities related scopes

    • Oversee annual facilities site audits.

    • Participate in budgeting for annual capital projects and maintenance R&M.

    • Provide direction for 3rd Party and In-House Preventative Maintenance

    • Partnering with company Health and Safety team, Develop and oversee scheduling and deployment of required Health and Safety programs

    • Provide support during company development activities including Expansions and Moves

    • Source appropriate vendors and trades

    • Responsible for managing and deploying Preventative Maintenance

    • Manage company Energy/Water efficiency projects including tracking and retrofits

    • Coordinate with IT and HR departments on cross-functional activities

    • Support company Events programs and manage Sunnyvale Food Program

    • Act as mentor to individuals on the team looking for career guidance

    What you bring to the team

    • Able to track and manage budgets and prepare reports

    • Experience in construction project management

    • Knowledge of building systems and health and safety procedures

    • Experience with confluence, reading plans, and other building management tools

    • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

    • Organization skills, with solid attention to detail and critical thinking

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Space planning and move management experiance

    • Leasing experience

    • Focus on customer service

    • Able to work independently and with a remote team

Pay within these ranges varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. The range provided may represent a candidate range and may not reflect the full range for an individual tenured employee. This role may be eligible for variable pay and/or equity.     Base Pay Ranges:

    SF Bay Area, New York City Metro Area:

    Base Pay Range: 105,420.00 - 165,660.00 USD

    California (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska:

    Base Pay Range: 88,340.00 - 138,820.00 USD

    All other cities and states excluding those listed above

    Base Pay Range: 79,170.00 - 124,410.00 USD
