    Job Description

    • Research and resolution of significant and / or non-routine transactions, including but not limited to: revenue recognition, leasing, joint arrangements and consolidation, derivatives, impairments, acquisitions and divestitures

    • Active engagement with the Corporate Development Group, senior management and business operations on various proposed transactions and agreements

    • Partner with the business by contributing accounting and financial information, analysis, and recommendations

    • Prepare and review technical accounting position papers

    • Monitor and advise senior management on developments in accounting pronouncements and analyze the related accounting, policy and reporting impacts

    • Lead and assist in the implementation of new accounting standards

    • Implement and enhance formal processes for obtaining and analyzing information gathered from business units for quarterly reviews over certain processes

    • Work with internal and external auditors

    • Ensure compliance with applicable internal control standards related to area of responsibility

    • Complete special projects and perform other duties as assigned

    Requirements

    Job Requirements

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset

    • Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement

    • Solid technical skills

    • Microsoft Excel experience

    • Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

    • Recent relevant financial experience

    • CPA or MBA preferred
