    AGS Business Summary

    The Applied Global Services (AGS) segment provides integrated solutions to optimize equipment and fab performance and productivity, including spares, services, upgrades, remanufactured earlier generation equipment and factory automation software for semiconductor, display, and other products. Customer demand for products and services is fulfilled through a global distribution network system with 100+ locations and trained service engineers, located in close proximity to customer sites in more than a dozen countries, to support over 49,000 installed Applied Semiconductor, Display, and other manufacturing systems worldwide.

    Role

    The Managing Director of Finance will support both the VP of AGS Operations at Applied Materials and VP of Service Business Units. With an annual business of >$5.5B growing at ~10% CAGR, a global workforce >12,000 the successful candidate will be responsible for the Long-Term Strategic Plan for AGS Operations and Product Development along with the quarterly execution plans.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supporting VP of Operations in the development and execution of a multi-year strategy to support the AGS growth plan.

    • Supporting VP of Service Business in the development/market readiness of new products

    • Enhance Business Models to drive scalable solutions, improving gross margin and working capital

    • Understanding the underlying business environment and work with business partners to modify business plans accordingly.

    • Drives group objectives and aligns with all matrix organizations and key stakeholders on recurring performance metrics.

    • Be a key partner in the Sales and Operations planning process aligning across multiple organization to ensure execution of AGS key deliverables

    • Leads Financial Support Team for Operations and Service Business Unit >25people across 4 locations

    • A key player in the development of global process and ERP Systems required to scale the AGS Business including updates to global processes as required

    • Lead digital analytics activities for AGS Finance

    • Responsible for training, staffing, and execution of tactical tasks around all corporate, foundational accounting and decision support deliverables

    • Employee development lead and participant in coaching sessions, career development councils, and critical succession planning requirements

    • Master's Degree/MBA Preferred

    • 15+ Years of experience

    U.S. Salary Range:

    $208,000.00 - $286,000.00

    The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

    For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
