    Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Manufacturing Superintendent (Level M) to oversee Emergent Operations or another Integrated Metals team in Auburn, Washington, with periodic support in Everett , Renton , and Charleston, South Carolina .

    The Superintendent leads a team of 800 people responsible for on-time delivery of production requirements to support Airplane Programs. Team Statement of Work includes managing build for all BCA programs, as well as some support to Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) and Boeing Global Services (BGS). A successful hire in this role will feel comfortable leading in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and will be a skilled communicator, connecting with teams across multiple Boeing programs.

    This position will require leading a multi-functional team, managing Manufacturing Business Unit (MBU) performance, financial measures, and ensuring first time quality and employee safety. This leader will collaborate with MBU and site leadership daily and will be focused on strengthening a work environment that promotes safety, quality, accountability, trust, and teamwork.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Manages, develops, and motivates employees and mid-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines.

    • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.

    • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

    • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.

    • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • 5+ years of experience leading and managing diverse teams.

    • 5+ years of experience working in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment.

    • 3+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership.

    • 3+ years of experience in advising and influencing managers or non-managers to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems.

    • Able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation.

    • Ability to travel 20% of the time domestically (primarily within Puget Sound).

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • Bachelor's Degree.

    • Experience using lean manufacturing and/or continuous improvement practices and tools.

    • Emotional intelligence and resilience.

    Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

    Summary Pay Range: $174,600 - $213,400
